The house was clean and like new. The screened in porch was amazing. The lake was quiet and the water was clear. The only downside was there wasn’t access to the shoreline for the canoe and no way to tie it to the dock. If you wanted to use it you had to launch it from the dock and lift it out of the water onto the dock every time.

Wish we had stayed longer!

From the listing, we felt pretty confident that the house would be clean and meet our specific needs. It exceeded all of our expectations! Beautiful design, well-maintained, and very clean! We had never been to that part of NH or Halfmoon Lake, so we were not sure what the surroundings / neighbors would be like. Again, exceeded all our expectations! We really enjoyed everything about the property and location and wish we could have stayed a few more days. Our one and only comment would be to have a safer path or walk from the house to the dock. The ground was a bit soft and rocky in places which made it a little tricky to navigate. But that's really the only thing and it wouldn't prevent us from coming again. This is a fantastic property, quiet location, great fishing, wildlife watching (a weasel hopped along the shoreline while we were fishing off the dock!), and even got to watch a sea plane takeoff and land!
