Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Please check to make sure all baseboard electric heaters are turned off.

Please place all used towels, sheets, and linens in the claw foot tub in the first bathroom.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Upper Saranac Lake, New York, is a jewel of a lake. It is still relatively undeveloped, with a great deal of natural shoreline. I could lean over the boat and drink the water., that’s how pure and clear the lake is. My father purchased a cabin not too far from the lake in 1979.. When the cabin down the lane from his became available, I knew I had to grab it…

The cabin used to be part of the famous great hotel, Saranac Inn, which burnt in the 70s. There is plenty of peace and quiet, and Upper Saranac Lake is about a five minute walk away.
