A lovely cabin nestled amongst the trees in a peaceful little neighborhood. It was the perfect retreat for our days exploring Yosemite and the surrounding areas. Olga was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcome.

Amazing stay at starlight cabin

Had an amazing stay here. House was clean and well stocked. Minutes from Yosemite South Gate and close to everything we needed. Will definitely look to stay here again!

The location of the property was in the woods, and had a lot of privacy during our visit in early October 2025. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. The hot tub was great and we used it after long walks in Yosemite National Park. This property was very convenient to the park and we had so much fun with my family. This wonderful trip was on my bucket list and we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary walking through the magnificent giants. Thank you for our fantastic visit!

Very quiet neighborhood nestled in the woods. About 50 minutes to the Valley floor depending on traffic, but you can get into the park in less than 15 minutes. House was well-equipped with everything we needed.

This cabin was built by my grandfather, uncle and father as a one bathroom, one bedroom. About 10 years ago my uncle expanded the cabin to the size it is now. Unfortunately he passed away and his family decided to sell it. The new owners have updated the furnishings and expanded the deck. They have done an amazing job updating it but still keeping some of the old charm the cabin had. We had an amazing time going to the Sugar Pine railroad. Having our grandkids fish in the creek and walking around the pond. I highly recommend booking this cabin if you get a chance. I know we will be back. Olga, the host, was also great

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at the quiet,comfortable cabin. Starlight was clean, well equipped and located on a peaceful road. The primary bedroom is on the street level with an ensuite bathroom. The other bedrooms and a big game room with TV are on the lower level. The deck was large and perfect for morning coffee or an outdoor dinner. The hot tub was already warm&inviting. Oakhurst is a short distance drive with grocery stores, movie theater and a variety of shops. We loved the Bigfoot Bakery and Grill. South entrance to Yosemite is about 15 minutes from the cabin. On a July weekday, we had no wait to enter the park which was a nice surprise. All in all, a very relaxing vacation!

The property accommodated my entire family and the host was very responsive. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking. The master bedroom bed mattress was very firm and would have preferred a softer mattress. The hair dryer was broken and my wife who has long hair had to go to bed with wet hair. The master bedroom shower drain was clogged but was resolved by the host promptly. Overall we enjoyed the stay but would have preferred not having to deal with the things mentioned about the property.
