Charming property that was clean, well appointed, and had fun surprises that made us laugh. The owners have a great sense of humor in addition to being very responsive to our questions. We were in the area for a funeral so this was a last second booking that was a huge relief to find. We will definitely book again in the summer when we typically visit our family.
We had such a nice stay. We loved the 70’s decor and everything was so clean. Justin was great about answering any questions we had. we would definitely stay here again.
This property was amazing in the dedication to their theme. We had a Groovy time!Beds are not deluxe, basement has a slight musty smell, but overall accommodations were as needed and as advertised.
Motorcycle trip, one night. Perfect to be able to get 3 Harleys in the garage. I felt like I was 12 spending the night at a friends house in 1975. It was awesome decor. We had no problems. The AC was nice a cool, had no problem keeping up.
Loved the place! A few constructive observations:No filters for coffee potDirty rug going from master bedroom to bathroomCoffee pot had leftover coffee in it
The decor was excellent & it provided a great trip down memory lane! Beds were excellent & everything was very tidy & clean. If & when we are back in Princeton, we will stay again! Whoever did the decorating did an excellent job, don’t change anything!
The listing is spot on. The house is In a safe, quiet neighborhood of older, well maintained homes several blocks from the downtown area. Very clean and well stocked. Large open back yard with a nice size back porch. The beds and pillows were comfortable as was the other furniture.
We loved the location of the house, the cleanliness, the very comfortable beds, and the retro vibe. Communication was mostly prompt and helpful. However, the “smart” thermostat was a nightmare. It was 80 degrees in the house upon arrival. We were uncomfortable much of the time due to: 1) The air coming out of the vents was never very cool. 2) I figured out how to set the thermostat after trial and error. I set the temp to 70 multiple times. The house would begin to cool, then after a few hours, the temp would go back up! I don’t know if the owner was adjusting it.The water was an issue as well. My friend took a shower while my other friend and I were out. With her long hair fully lathered, the water stopped. When we returned, she was in a robe, with a towel around her head. We checked online and found no reports of a water main break, no neighbors were outside, etc. I called the property manager and left a voicemail. She texted me within a few minutes and explained that the owner has a “smart” water system, which as I understand, allows them to shut off the water if they think there is a leak. We were beginning to wonder if the owner even knew we were staying at the house! In total, my friend spent over an hour with soapy hair, making us late for our next outing. We didn’t take multiple showers per day, or unreasonably long showers. No taps were left on, and the toilets were not running. If these issues would be resolved this house would’ve been a great place to stay.
