What makes this property unique
The property was purchased in 1948 by the Linton family and opened in 1950 as Lintonia Camps and Cottages. The original property included the land across the road, down Lintonia Drive. This is were the original cottages were located. Most of them have been replace with new homes but you can see some of the original cottages still on the property. The property was sold in 1974 and has changed hands a few times since then. There have been stores, restaurants, ice creams shops and all three at once in this amazing building. In September of 2023, the property was sold again, this time to the great granddaughter of the Linton’s and her husband. Once again the building that once housed the business office of Camp Lintonia Camps and Cottages was back in the Linton family. After months of renovations, the building is available for rent so families can still enjoy the beauty of Tacoma Lakes.
