We are a family of 4, who like to host people from all over the world in our little beautiful quiet place in magnificent Maine! We are very friendly and go above and beyond to make our guests feel like home!
Why they chose this property
We are located on Cobbosseecontee Stream in Gardiner, Maine. The stream is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing, with some sections having Class II rapids.
It has a rich history rooted in Native American usage, particularly by the Abenaki tribes. The name itself, meaning "Land where the sturgeon are taken," reflects the stream's importance as a fishing ground. The stream was a vital part of an Abenaki trail connecting Gardiner on the Kennebec River to Moosehead Lake.
