Welcome to the newest place to stay in Louisville! Nice centralized location to enjoy not only Louisville but also surrounding areas. Whether it be enjoying any of the attractions Louisville has to offer, setting off on the bourbon trail or just a relaxing retreat with the family. Close to interstates, shopping and dining.

The home is located on nearly half an acre lot. Has 3 bedrooms, two of which have queen beds. The master has a king bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa that has a queen bed. All bedrooms have smart tvs for your streaming convenience. This house has a large open concept living area, great for entertaining. The kitchen has all the appliances needed for preparing meals. The garage has been transformed into an entertainment space that includes ping pong, putt putt, basketball, darts, arcade games, tv, cornhole and more! The large fenced in back yard features a fire pitt, patio and grill. The home is tucked back off the road to offer additional privacy.

Stayed here with family. We had a great time! A car is definitely needed, but the house is located close to shopping, restaurants and Louisville attractions. My family and I appreciated all the games in the garage, if you get back from an excursion and still want to play it’s great! We had a mix of weather from snow, thunderstorms and sunny days. The host is readily available for any questions and there is a coffee bar with everything you’ll need and snacks. I had a hard time finding anything missing. I usually bring a night light for the bathroom with me because my eyes are sensitive to sudden bright lights, so that’s all I was missing but not normally provided, so everything was wonderful. This was an amazing property, they had great attention to detail, lots of things to do, games, mini arcade, ping pong, fire pit ect. Also came stockes with some firewood, snacks water and coffee. Great place and a great stay! If I could give 6 stars I would.

Adorable house!

We had so much fun at our stay! The house was nicely decorated, very clean and organized. Our group spent most of our time hanging out in the garage which was great! Perfect location for the distilleries we visited. I would definitely recommend this home.

The house was clean and looked wonderful. Exactly as pictures and described. Backyard was a great space and the game area was great. TV was great and so were the bathrooms. Wasn’t loud where we were. Driveway worked but it was a little tight when going to back around and turn to go out and was to busy a road to back out onto. That would be my only thing that wasn’t perfect. Host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again.

Sibling get away

Home Away from Home

For this being our first adventure with a vacation home, we absolutely loved it! The house was very clean and organized. Plenty to do for our older two kids. Personal preference but not necessarily a negative, I wish there was maybe a swing set or something more for toddler aged kids. Also, blinds over the back door would have been a little more comforting in the evenings. The location of this home was perfect! So close to all of the places we had on our list to visit. Walmart and Kroger were 5 minutes away. Host communication was excellent!Overall, this is definitely a house we want to visit again sometime soon!!

The house itself was amazing, and everything in it was amazing too. We loved it. The only problem we had was getting to the house with it being so far back in behind the other house it makes it hard to and the main street is horrible we almost got hit from behind twice because trying to pull into the driveway.

Emily's Wedding Weekend

We had a fabulous time staying at Derby City Retreat! The house is brand new and kept so clean. Little details that make a big difference like leaving wood for us to use in the fire pit and travel size shampoo etc are such nice touches and very appreciated. We had the most fun in the game room playing numerous ping ping games and video games. Thank you for allowing us to stay here. Super clean and very easy to communicate with the owner!

Fun, relaxing property for family & friend time!

Can’t say enough about this property. This gorgeous house was stocked with pretty much anything you’d need! There were so many fun activities available onsite. All instructions regarding the property were perfectly explained and the host responded to questions quickly! Even though travel sized toiletries were supplied, I’d highly recommend bringing your own if staying for longer than one night. The house was located close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The back yard was spacious and a great place to hangout. Can’t wait to come back again!! It’s worth every penny!! Highly recommend!!

Visiting friends

I took my daughter down to KY with my father and a friend of mine so my daughter could visit some friends she hadn’t seen since 2019. She spent the majority of the weekend with them while the adults did some distillery visits. The house provided more than enough room and comfort and was close to the highway. Downtown Louisville was a quick drive. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a fair priced home close to many attractions. The owners were very responsive to any questions and had a very detailed book that contained house rules and had information about places to visit and eateries. 5 stars easily.
