Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The owner canceled our Reservation at the last minute saying it was unavailable and was being used by another party so we could not have the home She did offer another home with a take it or leave it Price as the original listing. I checked out the home she wanted to put us in. The 2nd house was Much different and Much Less of a value than the home I had first reserved. Her 2nd home online listing price was also much less than the original home. I requested a partial refund for the lesser 2nd home. She declined as Her offer was take it or leave it. For us Leave it meant Cancelation of our PNW Vacation. With such short notice we didn't have time to find another home in the area so I accepted her offer. We checked into the 2nd house. Found the Hot Tub not working and dirty. She never mentioned it being unuseable before we arrived and it is pictured in all the photos and video of the 2nd house. I could go on and on with the 2nd house issues so I will spare you. I've never had a house rental like this, Since she canceled my house, shouldn't the reservation be updated to the 2nd house reflecting 2nd house Pricing and listing info? Shouldn't this review be on 2nd house and not on the original reservation? Since that's where we stayed. I would not recommend renting from this owner. Beware
