Big multistory residence with beautiful views and wonderful sunsets! The home was big enough to accommodate all of our guests without feeling over crowded.
Perfect for our 3 family group! I traveled with my son, DIL, and their one-year-old, AND with my daughter and her 8 & 4 year olds. The house had plenty of room for all 7 of us to have private space. My daughter took the MIL suite (2 queen beds with a mini living room and kitchen) which was perfect for end-of-the-day nighttime routines with her boys. My son and DIL had the master suite (king bed) with space for their little group of 3. That left me with my own cozy queen bedroom in between. (There were an additional 2 twin beds in the overlook that we didn’t use.) We enjoyed meals in the kitchen/ dining room with the open concept living room right beside. The views were amazing. The home was immaculate! There were plenty of paper goods, ample soap and toiletries, and room for two cars to park. We enjoyed our six night stay! Things to know: you need to be able/willing to go up and down stairs during your stay since the home is multi-level. It wasn’t a problem for us, and we would definitely book again. Highly recommend!
The house was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We saw whales off of the balcony.
There were a few hiccups along the way but we managed and had a wonderful 4th of July fireworks show from the balcony.
Very responsive and helpful host. The house was very clean and the view of the Sound was great. Beautiful sunsets each night. The layout is a bit odd. But beds were comfortable and the kitchen adequately stocked. Outside deck could have been a little cleaner with 4 (instead of only 2) comfortable chairs. Neighbors were very close by but the trees gave a good sense of privacy and the neighborhood was quiet.
The pictures of this property don’t capture the full beauty of this location or the spacious guesthouse. For example, we were fortunate to see bald eagles just outside of the west facing windows as well as whales in the Sound. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen area was accommodating and met our needs and then some.
Additionally, the properly is off the beaten path but just minutes away from shopping, the Mukilteo ferry, and other local attractions.
The property manager was very prompt in responding to our messages and the check in and check out processes were seamless. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the Mukilteo area.

Thank you Brett for the excellent review and glad that you had a good time in our guesthouse. Please let us host you and your family again for future visit in the area.
I never grew tired of the view from the deck. Spent much of my time on the deck. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect during our visit. The house was clean and well equipped. Know that a house built on the side of a hill is going to have lots of steps as well as a fairly steep driveway. There was some confusion on my part regarding the listing. I was not aware that the house could accommodate 2 bookings (multi-family) during the same time period. Fortunately I was in Seattle for a wedding and unknowingly my brother had booked what is the lower level, and my family booked the upper level for the same time period, so it all worked out. I could have been uncomfortable had it not been family. The beds were comfortable, and overall it was a lovely stay. After a short while you get used to the trains coming by. Yes, I would stay again.
The property was a great location. Quirky home but fit our 3 couples and 2 teenager family great. We were surprised that there was a person living in the downstairs apartment area, which caused limitations to our evening activities having to be quiet as to not disturb the downstairs tenet. Otherwise a very nice location.
