Welcome to The Bird House! Nested in an up & coming neighborhood, we are closely located to Old Fort Concho, The Riverstage & amazing local restaurants & breweries. And what's a downtown experience without the shopping & a view? You will have to check out all of the locally owned businesses & The Concho River Walk. We welcome traveling nurses & families as you can see the hospital from the back yard. Thank you for choosing us as your "home away from home" & we hope you enjoy your stay!

This house was absolutely beautiful. We didn’t want to leave. Close to downtown restaurants-we ate at Zero One-fabulous. Everything in the house was perfectly decorated, extra nice items left for us-snacks/water, etc. There’s a vacant house next door and some run down houses on the street-HOWEVER-it was EXTREMELY quiet, no issues whatsoever!! Get over that-the house is top notch!! Cute backyard area w string lights and area to gather around. Large tv in every room and I’ve not slept that good in months. Sooo comfy!! Highly recommend!!

We know everyone in the neighborhood and they are all great people. Actually its mostly entire familys living in the same area. 6/10 hurts for something that is out of our control. The house is very clean. The rooms are comfortable. I like that there isn’t a lot of clutter on the walls or on the surfaces; you’re able to set out your own things. While it was very close to all the downtown shopping it is in a neighborhood with some run down and empty homes. It’s nice that the property has good locking windows, good locks on the doors, a privacy fence around the entire perimeter and very well lit at night. This is important as we were two women traveling alone. We would stay here again.

Property was adorable, clean and exactly what was advertised. Great location to downtown but the neighborhood itself was run down. We were a little nervous at first but once we were settled all nerves went away. Great communication with the owner. Would definitely stay here again.
