The property was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Furthermore, it is located in a quiet neighborhood that allows easy access to downtown and surrounding areas.
Such a cute place to stay for a relaxing weekend get away! The house was exactly how it was advertised and the host was very communicative. Would definitely stay again!
Nice place, great communication, good amenities and location. We had to ask for blankets for the couch bed, there were sheets but just a small blanket for a cover. It would be nice if they had a motion light by the slider so you can see the lockbox, and also the shower surround is a bit small! If they made it larger than the tub that would be nice! Bed was comfy, fitted sheet kept slipping off the mattress though. All in all it was just fine and we will definitely stay there again!
Quick over the RR walk to eating options and little longer walk to downtown! Comfy and with great lighting though would be even better with a washer and dryer for longer stays!
The home looks exactly as advertised...and the surrounding area and ease of walk to downtown as well. Safe and serine. Will definitely try to book the next time we come back to SLO.
Quiet and quaint neighborhood! Always a plus coming from SF and LA we appreciated the stillness. Our friends got married at the Madonna Inn which was conveniently a ten min drive from the bungalow :)
We had a good experience traveling to SLO and staying with our 5-pound senior dog. He enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood and even made a friend—one of the neighbors down the street invited him to pee in her lawn anytime! We enjoyed being able to walk downtown for dinner after driving for hours. The place itself is as pictured, but there is one thing I would change—the sheets. I thought it was a hot flash I was having but my husband said the same thing; 100% polyester sheets are uncomfortable and not ideal for a good night’s sleep. We felt sweaty and icky in the morning. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
Peaceful, clean, easy living, nice energy, short walk to the bridge over the train station into town, friendly neighborhood cats that greet you, and one exceptionally beautiful one I called Marmalade, came right inside, got some attention, laid down on the rug for a brief moment and visited now and then. I shall cherish that. A warm welcome all around. And Pauline is the best! Cheers!
Pros:
-location to downtown SLO. Adorable and quiet neighborhood
-pictures are accurate
-clean, updated, with simple amenities.
Cons:
-bed and heater. Heater was loud when it turns on. Bed was smaller than expected.
An absolutely wonderful place to stay for a couple of days or longer (we booked out stay for 4 weeks). Everything was as promoted, and in some cases exceeded the promotion. Great, quiet location, very close to a wide variety of places to explore and things to do. One of the cleanest VRBOs we've ever stayed at. Well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed good storage space. Geoff and Becky were the most gracious hosts imaginable, bringing us fresh-cut flowers from their beautiful garden and becoming very good friends during our stay. The one and only very minor drawback was the low-pressure showerhead in the bathroom tub, but guessing that will probably be replaced soon. We absolutely loved our time staying there, and very much look forward to being able to come back next summer and many other summers to come. 100% recommend the Boho Bungalow to any single person or couple looking for a superb place to stay when staying in San Luis Obispo area.
All was good, but there might be some plumbing issues related to the shower situation, which was making some major noise. The bed also made loud noises to the point where we were not sure it was in good order.Just providing constructive feedback. Everything was overall ok.Thank you!
