The property was perfect for my family's spring break stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Everything that we needed was in the house.

Look no further people because this is the place you're going to want! It sits on 8 acres of land and it is absolutely beautiful! Peace and quiet and a lovely home and less than 5 minutes walk down a beautiful nature trail to the water. My family and I had are yearly reunion here and we had one of the most memorable times ever. We definitely are coming back. The host is one of the best ever! Thank you so much Charles for the opportunity!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am happy you enjoyed the place as much as my family does
What a wonderful place, very comfortable, quiet and secluded. It’s a hike to the lake, but well worth it. The deer feeder in the back brought in several different bucks and does, a sow with piglets, and a bobcat that scoped the feeder out. Beds are comfortable and the house was neat and clean. Loved the peace and quiet, and the fire ring is great to sit around on a cold evening. I highly recommend the Dawson Fish Camp.
Welcoming to pets: Yes, though we kept him on leash outdoors at all times. He loved sitting in the bay window and looking outdoors. Family friendly: Absolutely. Games, indoor and out, to play. Enough seating indoor and out. Fire pit with wood provided. Both charcoal grill and propane - we grilled all our meats and used a fully supplied kitchen to do sides.
We had a wonderful time at Dawson Fish Camp over Spring Break with two of our kids and dogs. The home was clean and well equipped. The bed linens were super clean and so comfortable - we slept great!Host was an excellent communicator when the wifi went out and kept updating is regularly. The bluebonnets throughout the property were beautiful! A huge plus for the time of year we visited. We made a couple of trips into town for some necessities and, while there was construction, we found anything we needed locally.Kayaking was a highlight and the water was peaceful and we were among few on the lake so it felt very off the grid with regular amenities. W loved cooking s'mores by the fire and cozying up to a movie. The stars are incredible and worth spending some time after dark.Thank you for a wonderful stay!
A beautiful property and very comfortable house. The AC and the shower water pressure were fabulous! We enjoyed walks to the lake, the lake view from the house, and kayaking. Lots of stars at night and cardinals, squirrels, turkey vultures and deer sightings. Our dog loved the property too! Charles the host was very helpful and hospitable.
Property is easy to find and easily accessible. Owners have a beautiful set up to watch the animals. Only downfall for myself is, I like to sit and watch my kids fish and swim off the bank and be able to keep an eye on our boat but, there is alot of brush/tree coverage keeping you from being able to do that. It is a small hike to the water. Supplies are ample.

Thank you so much for your stay and positive review. As this is a Core of Engineers lake we are unable to cut or remove any natural habitat. The positive side is you can move up and down the shore to find an area more suitable to your needs as this is all public land. Please consider us again for future visits and reach out before booking to secure our repeat customer discount. Thanks and God bless.
