Escape to our modern 4BR beach cottage in Fort Morgan, where design-forward comfort meets natural coastal charm. Unwind in the heated plunge pool, sip coffee on balconies with Gulf and Bay views, or stroll 3–5 minutes to the quiet, uncrowded beach. Ideal for families, groups, or travelers with pets, this peaceful retreat blends laid-back luxury with thoughtful touches to help you relax, reconnect, and reset.

Perfect, home away from home.

The views from the property were breathtaking and we enjoyed spending time outdoors taking in the scenery. The communication with the property owner was excellent. They were responsive, accommodating, and provided us with all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and check-out process. They also gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area, which we really appreciated. Overall, I cannot recommend Wild Olive Cottage enough. It was a perfect stay and I would definitely book it again in the future. If you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation rental, look no further - this property has it all.

We are a husband and wife team! Manley is an Architect and Rebekka is an artist. We both grew up in south AL, but Rebekka specifically grew up in Fairhope and Gulf Shores.

Why they chose this property

Rebekka's mom grew up in Gulf Shores and her grandparents had a house on the Lagoon. We decided on the Fort Morgan Area because of it's peaceful setting and the lack of commercial development. It feels just like it did when Rebekka was a child albeit there are a few more houses. The pristine natural beaches and easy access to both the bay and Gulf is exactly what we wanted for Wild Olive Cottage. We are located on the bay, but only a 3-5 min walk to the Gulf beach access. Our driveway lines up directly across from Beacon Ln, which is the path that leads directly to the beach access. So, guest can spend the day at the beach and then come home and spend the late afternoon and evening relaxing in our private saltwater plunge pool while taking in sunset views over the bay.

What makes this property unique

We designed our home with the intention of creating a peaceful and natural vibe with vaulted pine ceilings that let light fill the house at anytime of day. You can observe the sun's natural pattern from morning to evening all from the main living space. You can see the gulf from the kitchen and turn around and see the bay through the double height windows overlooking the pool.
