The Calibogue Sound incorporates the convergence of several creeks, rivers, and tributaries which flow onto Hilton Head Island and make it a perfect habitat for a variety of marine life. This Sound is also the best location for all types of water sports and activities. For those looking to kick back and relax, enjoy the peaceful private setting while watching dolphins, pelicans, wild birds and the sensational sunsets.

Sunset Beach Cottage is an upscale Cape Cod villa offers breathtaking views of the Calibogue Sound from the open living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, sun room, and both master king bedroom suites. The cottage is professionally decorated with hardwood floors, oriental rugs, plantation shutters, beautiful artwork and ceiling fans. It also has central air conditioning, central vacuuming, smart TVs and Wi-Fi internet throughout.

Start your morning with a hot cup of coffee while watching dolphins, pelicans and wild birds from the delightful glassed-in sunroom. Enjoy breakfast at the glass-top table with 6 rattan chairs. There are also 2 cushioned rattan armchairs and a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the summer. One step down is a large inviting sundeck with built-in benches, a cushioned large sofa, a table for 6 with 2 moveable umbrellas, 2 lounge chairs for sunbathing, 2 rocking chairs and drink tables for relaxing. Sunset Beach Cottage is a haven for quiet relaxation with impressive landscaping including palm and ornamental trees, flowering shrubs, and natural vegetation, yielding delight in every season. We believe it feels like paradise!

There are 2 private parking spaces in front of 43 Lands End. Five steps lead to a covered porch, where you’ll be greeted by a wooden pelican statue. The light filled gourmet kitchen has been recently updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, flat stove, and double sinks. A center island with 2 stools will be perfect for a quick snack. The dining area, which is adjacent to both the kitchen and the living room, has a rectangular cherry table and 6 high-back chairs. Soothing sage walls in the living room create a relaxing environment. There is a beautiful long sofa with a coordinating loveseat, 2 matching armchairs with ottomans, and an oriental wool area rug. The entire family can watch television on the 50 inch Smart TV with DVD and DVR. Floor to ceiling windows in the sunroom showcase the dramatic view of the Calibogue Sound. Don’t be surprised when you see pods of dolphins feeding and playing in the light waves!

On the main level is an oceanfront, light blue, master bedroom suite that features a king bed with a rattan headboard, cushioned rattan chair, 2 upholstered side chairs, an oriental wool rug and a 40 inch smart TV. Plantation shutters block out the light if you want to sleep in late or lie in bed and admire the water view. A private bath offers a double marble vanity and double glassed walk-in shower. There is a private door to the sunroom and deck for intimate enjoyment of the sunsets.

Also on this level is a pale blue, serene guest bedroom with two twin iron beds. It has a wonderful built-in desk and bookcase, which houses a 40 inch smart TV, and an oriental wool rug. There is a full hall bath with a door separating the living area and a second door leading to the bedroom. It has a large tiled shower.

Ascending to the second level, there is a another oceanfront, light blue master bedroom suite with a king bed with a rattan headboard, 2 upholstered side chairs, a 40 inch smart TV, and an oriental wool rug. While in bed, guests will appreciate the sweeping waterfront panoramic views of the Calibogue Sound, its beachfront, and the magnificent wildlife. There is a substantial private bath with double vanities, granite counters, and a large double walk-in glassed shower. The delightful pale sage 4th guest bedroom suite has a queen bed with a rattan headboard and footboard, a rattan cushioned chair, a 40 inch smart TV, and an oriental wool rug. The private bathroom has a wood cabinet and a combination tub/shower.

Lands End has a convenient on-site swimming pool and is within easy walking distance to the shopping, dining and water sports of the quaint South Beach Marina Village. There is also tennis and pickle ball at nearby South Beach Racquet Club, 15 miles of bike trails, 3 championship golf courses, and exciting boat activities.
