Located in the sleepy Wisconsin Village of Lime Ridge, Population 212, the Branding Iron Guest House is a unique turn of the century home with original woodwork. Warm and inviting with old-fashioned elegance, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of country living.
The Branding Iron Guest House is centrally located in Wisconsin's Driftless Area. It is a wonderful place to set up your base.
Spring Green's APT is 40 minutes south, Wisc Dells Water Park Tourist Destination is 40 minutes Northeast. We are 15 minutes North of White Mound County Park. Devil's Lake State Park is 40 minutes East. Ernest Hupeden's Painted Forest is 15 minutes North. The 400 Bike Trail starts in Reedsburg, 15 minutes Northeast. We are in the core of the Driftless Area and the Annual Hill & Valley Exploration Tour: A celebration of rural living (HVETour) which occurs on the last two full weekends in September. The HVETour features local farms and businesses that direct sell to the public. Gays Mills apple orchards are just one hour west.

Small Town Relaxation
We enjoyed our stay immensely.
The house was perfect. The host had left bathrobes for us in hte bathroom which was a very nice touch. It made me feel like we were in a 5 star hotel! We found plenty to do in the area and look forward to returning sometime.

Small town quiet
Nice, quiet home with thoughtful touches. Friendly host and a very attentive service with dinner next door the night we arrived. In a small village, enjoyed the quiet, with all the sights and locations of the Driftless within a short scenic drive.

Very cozy
Host made everything comfortable. Fan on when we got there, coffee and wine available. Had a question and responded right away! Bed was very comfortable. Great Friday fish fry right next door with good craft beer selection!
