We had an amazing time! Perfect family getaway! Lovely, cozy cabin, located in a beautiful, QUIET mountain neighborhood. Exactly as described in the description and pictures online. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay, including working fast Wifi! The location was great for travelling to the local Snowshoe ski resort or catching the shuttle. The host, Peter, was very personable, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend, it was a great experience!!
Such a cute cabin, close to the road but feels like it's secluded in the woods. Went for a little Dad and daughters trip with my little dog and it was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable - had plenty of dishes to cook, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot. The property is big and we were able to explore around the yard, have bonfires, and cook on the grill. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time I need a little getaway.
Very clean and nice. Better than advertised. Very accessible and fully furnished in a great location. Owners were extremely helpful and nice. Could not ask for more. Highly recommend staying here!!!
The property is easy to find, close to Snowshoe Mtn and Cass Scenic Railroad. The cabin is really nice, secluded, and is both cozy and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfy (with the best pillows I've ever had in a VRBO rental!) Host was friendly and communicated well.

We’re so glad you enjoyed - everyone deserves nice hotel quality pillows we believe! Thanks again
We had an excellent experience staying at Peter's cabin house. It had everything we needed and Peter was great to communicate with. High speed and reliable internet service which is not a given with the rural nature of the area. Would recommend!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the kind review!
Newer cabin in a wooded area with a stream nearby. Easy access to main road, but secluded away in nature. Short drive to Snowshoe and the owner plows the road and driveway as necessary with snow. Well furnished and comfortable touches throughout. Peter was quick to answer questions and good communication. A pleasant and peaceful escape and even saw a bald eagle near the cabin near main road. Thanks for a good stay Peter.
When you step in this cabin, you immediately feel like you would want this for a home. It was spacious and we were a party of 6 adults. Very comfortably furnished, very clean and great supplies. Full kitchen with some dry goods, lots of dishes, silverware, cups, and even wine glasses and a drink shaker. Also 2 types of coffee makers. I know all of these are listed amenities but we were all still impressed. There were only 2 tiny complaints. Every door hinge was very squeaky so it was easy to wake light sleepers and the batteries in both tv remotes were not working. But the owner was great about communication and said he would take care of it. We were so busy, we didn't really have time for tv anyways. It is private, warm, and the property is beautiful. I highly recommend!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is new and gorgeous, comfortable and rustic, clean and has dog treats! We spent a day exploring Snowshoe and a local park area.
Try to leave where ever you are coming from in time to get there in daylight. AND, even if your GPS "looks" like it's working, do not follow it. We ended up in a creekbed in the pitch dark (LOL) Once you get there, it's very easy to come and go.
We fell in love with the beauty of West Virginia and would love to stay here again for more than 2 days.
NOTE: leave yourselves a little time to peruse "mountain gazette 200", a publication on a table in the sitting area-one of the most interesting books I'd ever thumbed through.

Thanks so much for your wonderful review - we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay! We do recommend using the detailed directions we send before each booking as GPS isn’t perfect out here.
It was a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature. We loved how clean and modern this property was. Great communication from the host, and we enjoyed it tremendously. We played several of the board games too - nice touch. The mattress in the main bedroom was considerably firm (very, very hard). I would still stay again, but I recommend taking that into consideration if that's a priority.
