Great location in Kernville, my wife and adult boys enjoyed our staff. House was much bigger than expected, roomy for the whole family. The outside enclosed patio with the projector made for a great movie night

Great location

We love Kernville for the biking and rafting and small town feel. The house was well located within a mile of town and was super clean. Plenty of room for 5 guys. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard too. Highly recommend

Best Trip

My 9 high school senior boys and their lead teacher used this as the base for their senior class trip. When they returned all 9 and their teacher couldn't stop talking about how wonderful, perfect and amazing this property was and that it made the trip the perfect trip for them. Thanks to the owners for making it available and for being terrific to work with.

Amazing Stay at Valhalla

Trevor was a wonderful host. The temps in Kernville reached over 105 while we were there and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He was an excellent communicator and the house exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of room, it was clean, and had all the comforts of home. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from town. We used Whitewater Voyages for a rafting trip at his recommendation and they were also fantastic. If you visit Kernville a rafting trip is a must. Highly recommended staying at Trevor & Jessica’s. We hope to do it again soon.

Best Vacation Rental

The Valhalla House is our favorite vacation rental so far. Location is perfect for Kern River, white water rafting, Isabella Lake, and about 3 hours from Sequoia. The house was very clean and had everything we needed; beach towels, extra bath towels, plenty of toiletries, and awesome cookware. These might be small details, but I've stayed in rentals that do not offer any of that! The master bedroom bed and was the comfiest one I've ever slept during a vacation. Bed linens were the softest! Pillows were just the right amount of fluff. I was tempted to check the brands for each. 😁The property is so beautiful and spacious. I highly recommend staying here!
