Amazing Apartment!

I used to live in this complex and was happily surprised when I saw there was a vrbo available. Pros Amazing place to stay. The apartment is beautifully furnished and everything is very comfortable and clean. Downtown Fort Wayne is now amazing (versus when I lived there 20 years ago!) and there is so many things to do nearby. I don't have any cons but here are some things to be aware of: Downtown is loud. The apartment is next to a fire station, a few blocks from a police station, and right up against train tracks. (The apartment is very well insulated against sound so all you have to do is shut the windows.) The elevators aren't reliable. 1 or 2 always seem to be down for maintenance. The a/c unit in the bedroom is LOUD and doesn't have a Constant Fan option. I ended up sleeping on the couch because, as a light sleeper, the a/c woke me up several times turning itself off and on. (The apartment owner has nothing to do with this and the apartment won't change it until it breaks.) Getting into the building was awkward as there is a security entrance. I wasn't able to find the code and had to call the Help line. Things the owner could fix: The kitchen had plenty of pots/pans/dishes/cups but needed a toaster. Also there were 0 condiments: at the very least there should have been salt, pepper, sugar, & oil. No shampoo or soap in the bathroom. Kcups and an ice cube tray please. A mat in front of the sliding door to keep out rain. In July, need a parking tag to access lot.
