Good location, a few quirks
It looks like the property has been recently updated, however, the microwave above the stove is not working presently, but they have put one on the counter. One of the pillows had a rip in it, but the furniture was clean. Some of the lightbulbs were out, especially in the closet. The AC would not cool down enough for us during bedtime and through the night. The place would be cool during the day, but would not quite cool down at night, even if we lowered the thermostat. Communication with owner was short and not complete. There either needs to be a notebook with wi-fi and house info. in it or there needs to be more info online. Owner said it was emailed to me but I could not find the email. Owner said they would send a text early with entry information if the unit were to be ready early, I expressed interest in early entry and got a text saying it would be ready at 4. At 3:49 we were waiting and so I sent a text expressing my concern that we had not received a text yet. The unit looked ready from outside with no lights on and no activity. They responded that the unit would be ready at 4 and that I would be receiving a text in a few minutes. I finally received the text at 4:03. Overall the unit was nice, with a nice view, with fairly new appliances, and linen service was nice, and cleanliness was good and we were please with our stay. This was a family vacay. We like the facilities and we would stay in Southwinds again.
