So cute and cozy! Enjoyed the special detail to extras like coffe pods and tea bags. Extra pillows and fans in the bedrooms. Toiletries and plush towels. Great location- close to beach, and bike trails. Walk to ice cream stand. Quiet area. Excellent communication. Hope to stay again soon!
We stayed here while in the area for a get together with friends. Nearby to a lot of great restaurants and a variety of activities, even in the off season, made this a great place to make our home base for the weekend. The location was easy to find and appeared very well maintained. The inside was quite clean except for a stain on one of the bedspreads and some food remnants found hanging out under the placemats on the dining room table. Some bathroom amenities were provided which was greatly appreciated.
This was the cutest house to stay in. I have a family of 6 (2 adults, 15, 11, 5, 5) and it was a great set up for us. Everything we did was under 10 minutes away. Michigan Adventure is the only exception and that was only 20 minutes away. We woke up the first day to see turkeys in the yard which my kids loved! They stroll around the neighborhood and we saw them several times throughout the week. The porch was perfect for me to take my littles out in the morning so they don’t wake up the others. There are so many things to do in this area and the restaurants are wonderful. We found a cute dog beach 3 min from the house. We went to The Deck which my son said has “the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had in my life”. We toured the submarine museum and my daughter thought that was amazing. Even on a Saturday night we avoided the long waits at the popular restaurants and went to Hanks. It was delicious! Randy and Deb have set the house up to have anything that you need. There are extra beach chairs and an umbrella by the back door, washer and dryer which came in so handy, fully equipped kitchen, beautifully decorated, plenty of blankets, and wonderful communication. We hope to be back sometime!
We needed a weekend near Lake Michigan before Autumn rolled in. This house was in perfect driving distance from everything we wanted to see. Within walking distance from a great ice cream spot. We had a great beach day at the local beach. Well appointed, CLEAN! We will be back and hope this home is available.
Cute cottage like house..great location!.about 30 min. To MI. Adventure. 5 min to the pier and "the deck" restaurant. Ice cream place right on the corner..house had a lot of things to offer, beach towels, beach chairs, badminton, fire pit, k- cups and creamer, it was very nice not to have to go to the store and but the basics. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come again
Loved this little home! So so cute… had everything we needed plus extra! So clean and decorated so fun! Very short distance to a couple parks that were right near Lake Michigan and the beach! We even saw a few wild animals… a skunk as we pulled onto the street and wild turkeys as we left! Ha! The grill was easy and convenient. Although we weren’t able to have a campfire because of the weather, it was nice too! Definitely would come back if we were in this area again!
Lovely, modernized older beach home, conveniently located between Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake, minutes from many venues. Owners provide many items in case you have forgotten anything. Three window A/Cs kept up with the 85+ heat when needed. I was traveling with my 89 years young mom and she navigated the few stairs and separate bath with no difficulties. Good value.
