Spacious A‑frame lake house on West Point Lake, renovated in 2023. The house is set on 2 acres with a private covered dock and boat slip. Featuring 2,800 sq/ft, soaring 30‑ft ceilings, cedar beam construction, and front/back decks, the house is ideal for groups. Sleeps 8 with 3.5 baths, ping pong table, firepit, gas grill, and central heat/AC. Approx. 7 ft of water at end of dock during summer pool. Great area for fishing!

Conveniently located 11 miles from the town of West Point, and 20 miles from LaGrange, you can access grocery stores, antique shops, breweries and more within an easy drive, but you're also in a secluded area that is often free from lake traffic.

I’ve lived all over, from Indiana and Connecticut, to Cape Cod, Nashville, Austin, Japan, and Atlanta. Travel is a priority for me, as are unique experiences which have inspired some of the design of this house.

Why they chose this property

The area is quiet and serene. The area doesn't get much traffic as the road dead-ends to the Rocky Point boat launch and nature trails at the end of the street. Our two acres are on a wooded but well maintained lot. In addition to those two acres, there is an army corp setback that adds even more privacy.

Wildlife is abundant in our area. You can find herons, turtles, deer, foxes, frogs, turkeys, eagles, ospreys, and more around the property and in the surrounding area. West Point Lake is known nationwide for its stellar fishing, and bass, striper and crappie are known to be abundant in the area.

What makes this property unique

The highlight of the property, aside from it being directly on the lake, is certainly the uniquely constructed home. A-Frames are aesthetically pleasing, but we've put in the effort to ensure that it's both stylish and comfortable as well.
