So much to enjoy at the Sailhouse community. With a crisp and clean walk-in pool, boardwalk with lush foliage, 650 foot lighted pier, and private beach area for the community. The house has an up scale modern design with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Open living, large dining table and fully stocked kitchen. Take in the beautiful sunsets on the balcony overlooking Aransas Bay or layback on the loungers on the grassy knoll and beach area as you watch the waves roll in.

TheWhole family enjoyed the pier and the pool. Only downfall was no TV’s in the bedrooms.

Not the greatest experience

Host Clayton (manager not owner) was rude from the start. I felt as I was a customer more like I should be thankful I get to pay him to stay there. I thought it was tacky for him to advertise his real estate in someone else’s business (cozies). No access to garage to store fishing equipment so we had to store outside and hope nothing was stolen. Pier and beach were closed and I believe it was closed after the tropical storm a week prior to us arriving. Coffeemaker but no hospitality complimentary coffee ( I could have stayed at a motel 8 and had more hospitality - it is not required to have complimentary coffee but this would be my first stay at a short term rental that didn’t- most even leave a basket of snacks and this zero). Pantry was filled with cooking wear so I couldn’t store my food without rearranged so I stored on counter (cluttered). Front door had no privacy curtain so the camera faces straight into the walkway to the children walking in and out of the rooms to the restroom. My son fell down the stairs bc they are solid wood and his feet must have been sweaty. No traction - thank goodness he was ok. Host compromise for the pier being down and refunded me two days - I kindly left two days prior and released access instead of asking to stay free for two days. Since VRBO didn’t refund the taxes on the 2 days I was obligated to pay them bc I paid for a home that was not what was advertised - I guess that’s fair. *sarcasm*. Superhosts only for now on. Home was clean.
