About this property

Private, cozy guesthouse with full kitchen and bath and nice garden with seating

This very quiet guesthouse is a bright room and very private. It's detached from my main home and located in the backyard, with complete privacy. There are two beds; one is a queen bed and the other is a pull out couch with a mattress topper for added comfort. I have a lovely bathroom with a tub and walk in shower. There's cable TV, Roku and WIFI. A side entrance allows you to come and go as you please. It's 2.5 miles from Manhattan and Hermosa Beaches; a 10 min. drive.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash all used dishes and glasses and please leave in the drying rack.
Place all towels in the bathtub.
Turn off all lights, fan, tv and heater.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please smoke outside in the front of the house. Trash is by the side gate for your butts. There will be a $100 fee if smoke smell is detected.
No pets allowed without prior authorization. Please message to discuss. There is $250 service animal fee.
Use the hose to rinse sand from feet and shake out towels. There will be a $25 fine for excessive sand brought in. Do not shower sand off in bathroom.

I had an incredible stay here. I was in town due to some unfortunate circumstances, and I was met with the most incredible kindness. I enjoyed sitting in the garden space in the early morning and late evening, reading and just being. I also really enjoyed having a wonderful bathtub for soaking. The space was comfortable, inviting and unique. It is also located in a wonderful area, with lots of access to food and activities. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks for being a great host!

Great spot

Great spot for the price. We just needed a place to sleep and cook some food, as we had a trip which required us to be gone most of the day every day. This place was very clean and quiet which was great for us. I would definitely recommend this property if you just need somewhere to sleep and eat.

Redondo Beach Review

The property itself was clean and big enough for the 4 members of my family. A nice touch was that the host left a bottle of wine in the fridge to enjoy upon our arrival. The garden pictured in the property is only partially private as it is attached to the yard of the main house, which was a major disappointment and not what was expected based on the pictures of the property. If I had known that the garden was not entirely private, I might not have chosen to rent the property. The host/property manager was home and in close proximity to us as guests for a good portion of our stay, which was awkward at best since the main house is within approximately 15 feet of the rental property. The host/property manager also hung laundry in the back yard to dry daily, including a black lace bra, that took away from the ambiance of the outdoor space during our stay. The bathroom had a very heavy (not standard) and unsafe barn door that fell off of the top track the moment that we walked in the door when my husband touched it. As a guest with young children, I spent a great deal of time keeping my 2 and 4 year old children away from the door to prevent an accident related to this safety hazard. The location and neighborhood are great!
