Hermosa Beach cottages

We finished our amazing California honeymoon in this wonderful spot in Santa Monica. Dayle was a welcoming host, communication was easy and the property perfect. Easy to get to the beach and all the restaurants and nightlife of SM and Venice Beach. Perfect little courtyard for a meal in when we needed a night in too!

This was the perfect beach cottage! Private, clean and with a separate entrance and parking. Lynn & Morris we’re amazing hosts, with great communication and great tips on things to do in the Redondo Beach area. We had originally booked and planned to stay in the cottage for a week and then travel around other parts of California but we loved our stay in this cottage and the Redondo area so much we decided to stay here for our second week. It’s a short walk to Redondo Beach which is lovely, definitely not a tourist trap, it was mainly locals enjoying the surf and the amazing views. Great restaurants and boutique shops nearby in ‘the Village’. We would highly recommend this place to any of our friends and family and would happily stay there again should we ever find ourselves staying in Los Angeles. Burnham Beach Cottages are fantastic. We enjoyed an extremely cosy, homely, and very well equipped rustic cabin, tucked away in a quiet, private oasis, a very short walk from the beach and pier. Katie, Wendy and the management team could not have been more proactive both before and during our 5-night stay, which was faultless. Very much looking forward to staying again in a few months’ time.

Our stay at Burnham Beach Cottages was brilliant. Such a lovely cottage with all the amenities you need for a short stay. Perfect location for getting around. Easy parking. Near to the pier and beach. Wendy is a wonderful host and checking in and out is so simple.

The cottages are located so close to the Pier, which is great. We were 4 people in the large house and although one bedroom was very small we all slept well. The matters under one of the beds was good. Thank you for having us!

Second time we have stayed here. The bungalow is ideal. Lovey deco etc. The host left us some essentials on the fridge for when we arrived, beer, wine, milk. The location is a perfect base for visiting all of la. We had a car so it was easy to get around. Always seemed like a 20min drive to any hotspots, downtown, Hollywood etc . There is supermarkets, fast food, restaurants, coffee shops all in walking distance . Can’t wait to stay again

Stayed for 1 week in September. A perfect base for Venice Beach and Santa Monica. Made great use of the bikes to get around and as far as Manhattan Beach. Apartment was compact but was as expected. Everything provided for a comfortable stay. Only downside was as it was a shared outdoor terrace with the larger property (the large property overlooks the canals while the smaller property which we stayed overlooked the driveway). Although this downside is only down to personal preference. I would definitely recommend the property.
