This was the second time we stayed in the "Gateway to the Gorge" VRBO, and we were just as pleased with it as we were the first time. The hosts thoroughly thought about guests' needs, from the decor to amenities. The space provides privacy, beautiful views, and the creature comforts for a lovely getaway.
We love the Camas Washougal area. Well done upstairs apartment with beautiful views of Mount Hood. The night scape is very well done as well. Very quiet and comfortable.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment atop the garage was thoughtfully decorated, clean, comfortable, private and had everything we needed for our three nights in Camas. We even had a clear day to take in the breath-taking view of Mt. Hood from our deck. Our hosts set a high bar for VRBOs.
We typically use rentals as just a "base camp" for our daily activities - just needing a place to shower and sleep. This place was something that we looked forward to coming back to each evening and spending some time each morning on the deck with coffee, wine, etc.!
The host went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and was very considerate of us when she had some work that needed to be done around the house.
