About this property

Timbers by Evergreen Forest Cabins

Make our 2300 square ft. post and beam abode home base for your trip to The Pacific Rim. Enjoy reconnecting with family and friends in the substantial open concept living space featuring fifteen-ft. vaulted ceilings laced with skylights. Walk from the property to Florencia and Half Moon Bay through the National Park’s Willowbrae Trail. Collaborate in the spacious kitchen or enjoy a beverage at the island while telling stories of the day’s adventures.

Vaulted ceilings adorn the thousand square ft. open concept kitchen, living, and dining area of the home. The kitchen features a gas range and stainless appliances. Ample counterspace, cupboards appointed with appropriate cookware, and a large island with bar seating are sure to inspire the chef. A farmhouse table welcomes 8 guests alongside 2 bar seats for feasts of local fare. Retire to the living area after a full day of exploring and relax around the woodstove. The Smart TV gives access to your Netflix, while fibre offers cable.

Timbers offers four bedrooms with the ability to sleep 10 comfortably between 6 beds, and the option of adding two extra beds on request.

A laundry room with stacking washer and dryer offer guests the flexibility to do the odd load of laundry during their stay. Especially beneficial for families and those on extended visits.

As we have 4 cabins on the acreage, we ask all guests to please respect each accommodation’s privacy and to refrain from wandering around the acreage. Timbers has plenty of parking with space for 5 vehicles (and boats and trailers) right in front of the house. The mortice and tenon timber framed front entry offers exterior covered space, along with a barbeque for your grilling enjoyment. A patio space with deck chairs round out the outdoor area.

I`m a call away if you need anything during your stay; from local advice to solving any issues that arise, I`ll be there.

Our neighbourhood is made up of large residential properties mostly tucked away in the trees. The Millstream area is unique due to its private rural setting while being only five minutes from town. Proximity to the Pacific Rim National Park (walking distance), and the Wild Pacific Trial trailhead is a fantastic bonus for those who love to explore.

The Pacific Rim is by nature very car dependant. There is no public transit and only one taxi available. We highly recommend you arrive with your own vehicle so you can take advantage of everything the area has to offer.

The trail linking Tofino and Ucluelet is now complete and paved. We are a couple hundred yards from the trail, which now allows for a much more enjoyable experience for those that like to explore by bicycle.

Timbers has 6 permanent beds, with the option of up to 8 beds. Please let us know how many beds your group requests to be set up in your booking message. The bedroom layout is as follows:
Bedroom 1 – King (optional Twin)
Bedroom 2 – Queen, Twin XL (optional Twin)
Bedroom 3 – King
Bedroom 4 – Queen, Twin
Living Room – (optional Twin)
Pass-through to 4th bedroom (optional Twin)

Timbers is not listed as pet friendly although it occasionally hosts low-shedding, well mannered pups on request.

The Timbers House is part of Evergreen Forest Cabins Ltd. Scott is the Owner of the business, and the primary contact during your stay.

Scott was very accommodating. The size of the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for all to sleep and to share time together in the kitchen/family room.

We loved the accommodation. Steve was a great guy to deal with, super nice and I was able to call him with anything we needed. We did go on a fishing private tour as well and were very happy with our trip from seeing sea otters ,a whale and catching 3 beautiful ling cod for dinner. Would definitely recommend this property .

Special Family Gathering in Ucluelet

We wanted a place where our whole family could gather and spend time together. This house was perfect for us. The enormous living, dining and kitchen area allowed everyone to cook, talk and even room for the little ones to run around in full view (but out of the cooking area). Beds were comfy with quality linens. Endless beaches close by. Our days were filled with sun and sand. I’m glad that Ucluelet has remained a quaint village but with a number of great places to eat if you want to venture out. Down the highway is Tofino and it’s fabulous beaches for further explorations. Scott was a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive to our communications. In summary, we had a wonderful getaway and made memories for a lifetime.
