Wonderful Stay Near Saratoga Lake

A group of friends and I stayed at this wonderful home for the DMB shows at SPAC. The house was awesome and the backyard was a perfect place to hang out! Amy was an excellent host and answered any questions we had right away. Highly recommend!

The house had a terrible odor as soon as we walked in. Stayed with us our entire stay and seeped into our clothes. The utensils were filthy. Old food in the fridge. Bedding did not smellOr looked fresh. Very disappointing. Will not be coming back.

We strive to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home, so we’re disappointed to learn this was your experience. Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with our cleaning company prior to your arrival, and they did not complete the turnover to our usual standards. While this is not an excuse, it does help explain the concerns you encountered. We have since addressed the matter directly with our cleaning team and have implemented additional quality checks to ensure this does not happen again. We also wish the concern regarding the odor had been brought to our attention during your stay. Had we been made aware at the time, we would have been happy to inspect the property immediately and do everything possible to identify the source and resolve the issue. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we have the opportunity to address any concerns promptly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this caused. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention, as they help us continue improving, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to provide the five-star experience we strive to deliver.
