Located in Stuart, this holiday home is in the mountains. Reynolds Homestead and Danbury Historic District are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Hanging Rock State Park and Fred Clifton Park. The Dan River Company and Nancy's Candy Company are also worth visiting.
We have stayed here twice and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The home has a great character, it's very clean, and has plenty of room for our family. I love the sunroom on the side; it gives some extra space for us to spread out.
Perfect location for visiting Stuart and Crist VA. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable. Looking forward to my next visit in a couple of years.

Home is in a nice, quiet area. Not sure how often the home is occupied...there is a definite smell, that could be taken care of with some cleaning or open windows. The microwave was quite filthy, especially the inside top, so it was not used. The bathroom would be nicer with a clean shower curtain and new towels. It appeared they just kept whatever was already in the closet when they took over the house. It would be nice to have access to the washer/dryer, for those traveling longer. We managed to use the local laundromat, an unexpected experience. Overall, it was a quiet place to sleep and served that purpose.
The home is just as beautiful and serene as pictured! We had a wonderful stay. Watching the sunrise and the deer in the field was phenominal!! Check in was easy and we found everything we needed to prepare the dishes we were taking to our event. We will recommend this house to all our family and friends! We will definetly book this lovely home again!
We found the property just as described. The house was clean and comfortable. The views were absolutely amazing! The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We are definitely planning on another stay in the near future. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.
We came into town to visit our friends winery. This house was so cozy and had so much space! We made dinner and all of the appliances worked amazingly and the kitchen had everything we needed. We got a great nights sleep, the street is very quiet and
Beautiful curb appeal and interior, we enjoyed our stay. The view of the valley is gorgeous off the front of the house. The drawers and cabinets hold all you need for a comfortable stay and the ability to cook full meals. A gem. Thank you.
The location was perfect for our time in the area. It was close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, grocery stores, and Patrick Springs. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped and spacious kitchen. The beds were quite comfortable and the house was spacious. We enjoyed a morning walk down the path in the backyard and sitting on the front porch in the evening. The distant mountain view is so beautiful and serene. There were deer feeding on the grass in the backyard each morning and evening, too! What a treat!
We truly enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful home, and we had everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was very easy; replies were all very helpful and prompt. This is a very quiet area, out in the country with a mountain view from the front of the home. The VRBO pictures are accurate and nice, but I think the home is more spacious and lovely in person. There are three bedrooms. There is also a very nice "sunroom;" the sunroom is not air-conditioned or heated, but it is cozy and comfortable, it has a lot of character, and it's fantastic for some additional space. Ours is a family of seven, and we had enough space for everyone. There were some children's toys and some cozy quilts. My daughter and I played one of the games we found, Battleship, on the front porch while looking at the mountain view and listening to the soothing windchimes. My husband and sons romped around in the spacious backyard. There is no wifi or laundry facilities, but we were aware of that and did not need those things during our stay. We would love to stay here again the next time we are in the area!
