The cabin was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The fire pit area is fantastic and well stocked with wood. Three important things to note: 1) The cell service (for Verizon) is non-existent. I failed to write down or take a screen shot of the key lock box code, so we had to drive about 5 minutes back down towards town before our signal was strong enough to open the VRBO app. then drive back to get into the house.2) We arrived at night and there were no lights on at the cabin. It would have been nice to arrive with at least the porch light on.3) There isn't much to dampen the sound in the cabin, so there isn't much privacy. Example... if you're in the downstairs bathroom, you can clearly hear someone peeing in the upstairs bathroom. We really enjoyed the space and would highly recommend it.

About the host
Hosted by Hannah Largen
Since I moved to NYC to pursue my career in design, I found myself escaping away to this little cabin to enjoy the peace and serenity of my hometown in Stuart, VA. I hope you enjoy the cows, mountain views, and morning coffee on the front porch swing as much as I do. Nothing is as magical as Patrick County in the fall. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or ways that I help improve your stay, or local recommendations!
