We had a great experience! Very safe and quiet area. Great for little. They were able to walk all around the house without worrying about them getting into anything. The park and bikes included were amazing ! Just a short drive to get anywhere you needed to go.
Me and my family absolutely loved staying here. The house was cozy and situated close to all the wonderful amenities and restaurants Atlanta has to offer. In addition, the property manager was extremely nice and responsive over text whenever we needed help. I enthusiastically recommend this listing to anybody that is taking a trip to ATL!
Girls trip to a church conference, we were literally only at the house for 2 nights to sleep. Licet, our house host was incredibly kind and very quick to respond with a few questions we had. If you are looking for a place on the NW side of Atlanta, this is a great spot.
We had a great stay at this home. The home was clean and neat. The master bed was comfortable and we really felt at home. We will stay here on our next trip to Atlanta. Lucet was a pleasure to work with!
We enjoyed our stay here. I didn’t realize the park with trails was at the end of this street when booking. It was nice to escape in nature. Comfortable and spacious. Would stay again!
My two adult daughters joined me for a fun filled time in Atlanta. We enjoyed 4 cozy nights at the charming Atlanta Gem. We had all the basic comforts and conveniences. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast every morning. The beds were comfy and we did find extra blankets when we had a chilly night. The heater was also sufficient. The older neighborhood has potential since a great outdoor space/ trail is at end of road. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We went to World of Coca Cola, the Botanical Gardens and to the Aquarium. Our host was readily available at arrival and
Travelled to Atlanta with my partner and parents for a major surgery, was looking for a comfortable, safe place to stay until I was able to go home. This home is beautiful and comfortable with big windows that look out into the park, lovely decor and comfy beds. The owner Licet was wonderful to communicate with and answered any and all questions we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Atlanta! I wish I could’ve taken a walk in the park, would definitely recommend that. All in all it was very quiet and our wishes were respected. :)
We stayed there only one night on our way to Florida. My husband and son were going to a Braves game and this was a great option for spending the night. Neat and clean, just the way we like it!!!
What a wonderful and convenient stay we just had this past weekend with my brothers when we all attended the National Championship at Mercedes Benz Stadium. While our team didn't win the game , we nonetheless had an enjoyable trip and Licet and Ken's home was great. We would have given the overall rating as 5 stars for our visit but we were not able to watch the free TV channels - ABC, NBC, and CBS - and we had some difficultly getting the guest bathroom to shower to work. (We were told later that the knobs have to be turned a certain direction, which we didn't realize). However, when we reached out to both Ken and Licet, they responded immediately and said that they will be addressing these items after our visit so that the next guest will not encounter these very small issues. Ken and Licet were very hospitable and helped us with recommendations getting to and from downtown, where to take / pick up an Uber at the stadium and how to access the Marta public transportation subway - which is only a 3 minute drive from their house. BTW, the Marta system is very easy to use in ATL and we highly recommend staying at their home. Also, all three of the bedrooms were very comfortable, the heating unit in the house worked very well (as we encountered an unusual Polar Vortex 20 degree weather during our stay), and the home provides plenty of space for families or couples when visiting the area.We highly recommend staying at Licet and Ken's place. Thank you again.
Our host was excellent. Was willing to go above and beyond our expectations from the start. The host responded VERY quickly to even late evening requests. The electronic door lock and Nest thermostat were nice touches. Appreciated the motion-sensing light on the front of house. There were plenty of blankets on an unseasonably cold winter stretch during our 2 night 3 day winter stay, but the house was nice and warm during the day without them and cool at night which we prefer for sleeping. But if a person wanted to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie on the big screen TV or cozy up under the covers they could. Wish we could have made use of the 2 bikes that were available with the paved bike trail just being down the street. But time qnd weather didn't work for us.The vintage style (but bluetooth compatible) record player with the old school records available was a superb touch. But if a guest doesn't know how to properly use a record player please leave the record player alone unless you want to stream Spotfiy on it, so that people who know how to properly take care of and use a record player can enjoy. We weren't entirely familiar with downtown Atlanta but we were only 15 minutes to State Farma Arena and Mercedes Benz Stadium. Our compliments to the host as it is evident they have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into making this a welcoming and "homy" place to stay at.
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home! The decor was charming, and it was well-equipped with WiFi, a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and unexpected bonuses like a microwave and a Keurig machine. The hosts were incredibly responsive, checking in to ensure everything was going smoothly, which made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit.
The listing was mostly accurate, and it was a pleasant surprise to find additional amenities like the microwave and Keurig. The property is in a quiet neighborhood next to a park, giving it a peaceful, retreat-like feel, yet it’s still conveniently located within a 15-minute drive of midtown Atlanta and many major attractions. This balance made it perfect for our girls’ trip, providing a serene space to relax between our little city excursions.
While we did notice some minor issues mentioned in other reviews, like the house being a bit hot and stuffy on arrival, we quickly resolved this with some air freshener and letting the space cool down. A suggestion would be to have an air purifier and fan on hand for guests. Nevertheless, these were small inconveniences compared to the overall quality of the stay.
Overall, this property is an excellent value for the price. The beautiful decor, serene setting, and fantastic host communication made for a restful and enjoyable weekend. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful getaway in Atlanta!
