You must see this Northern Michigan Gem! The "Schussy Schalet" is brand new on the rental market. Located in Schuss Village in Shanty Creek resorts.
Please look at all of the pictures and the descriptions.
Everything has been renovated. These owners have not missed at thing.
This condo has such a nice cozy up north feel.
Picture this: woods next to you and beautiful pine trees in back. You are on the Schuss Golf course but the feel is so private.
450 sqaure foot condo that sleeps 4 comfortably. Ground level unit with parking out front. No stairs to climb.
1 bedroom with Queen bed. Smart TV in bedroom

The bathroom is beautifully renovated with a fully tiled shower and wow the shower heads are amazing. You will feel like you are in a high end spa in this shower
Heated floors throughout
Air-conditioning
Kitchen and living room are open concept making 450 square feet feel large.
Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. We also have a gas grill and you will find the best steaks to grill at the Bellaire Smokehouse.
We have dishes, pots and pans and spices for cooking
Crock pot for your cold winter days.
If you are looking for something special just ask, I probably have it.

Your rental includes a complimentary pool pass that gives you access to the Schuss indoor pool and hot tub (seasonal)

*pool closures are out of our control and we cannot refund for pool closures. This does not happen often*

The backyard has a 6 foot sliding door that opens to a patio with access from your bedroom. There is a bonfire pit. Enjoy your favorite beverage while relaxing after a day of sightseeing or relax with your morning coffee.
We also have a bonfire pit in the front yard. Choose the view you like most!

We are on the Schuss golf course and there are 5 other popular courses within a few miles.

This is a great location to use as a hub and take day trips to explore Northern Michigan's beauty including Traverse City, Petoskey, Torch Lake or Charlevoix just to name a few.
Sleeping Bear Dunes makes a great day trip. I
f you prefer to stay closer we have several lakes within 10 minutes.

Like to bike ride? Glacial Hills is 5 miles away in Bellaire.

Why pay the high hotel prices in populated Northern Michigan towns when you can stay here and enjoy much more for your money and travel to different areas everyday. Or if you want to stay put, there is plenty to do within a 5 mile radius.
Winter fun! Walk to slopes or Nordic ski from your back door. Snowmobile traileheads within a 10 minute drive.

Enjoyed our stay. Small but the space was utilized well. We didn’t care for all of the ice everywhere in the parking lot but the property itself was vice cozy and clean. The upstairs neighbors were very loud and you could hear them throughout the evening hours stomping around.

Mid-Winter Break

The Schussy Schalet was perfect for a couple day get away with my 10 year old son for a ski trip. The condo is updated, clean, and very convenient to the Schuss slopes. We had a great time!

The property was nice, well kept, clean and cute. The thermostat was tricky to control and that resulted in the condo being too cold for my comfort. There were no directions at all on how to operate the heated floors, which also resulted in me being cold. I enjoyed the grill and the recommendation of the Bellaire smoke house for yhe best steak I have ever eaten. Overall a good stay, but needs a few tweaks.

Amazing secluded modern and clean

We loved staying at this property, it feels secluded and woodsy tucked away at the end of the condo units. There was two fire pits one in front and back. The space felt large and welcoming. That amazing waterfall shower was the best! The location was centralized to all you could want to do in northern Michigan! The golf courses are walking distance from the condo and so is the ski hill for winter! There was lots of hiking up and around the ski hill too. Would 100% book again! We cant wait to go back! :)

Property was wonderful, but it was hard to get to sleep. It was so noisy upstairs you could hear everything everybody walking, baby crying very hard to stay asleep with all the noise going on. No washer and dryer made it a little difficult And no stove

Few things

We were on the first floor and there were people above us that obviously had young children. Unfortunately, there was no sound barrier and that made it very difficult to sleep in. As we are adults, we would stay up and watch a movie and then want to sleep until eight and there was a ton of noise above the bedroom. Part of the reason we stay there as we had the option to use the hot tub at the Lakeview place. However, apparently the hot tub has been closed for a while and is not going to be open for a while, and I would’ve loved to have known that before we changed and drove over there after 9 o’clock at night and then found out it was closed to drive back. The pool was open…. But after a long day of hiking and kayaking, we were looking forward to the hot tub. Outside of that seemed fine with the exception of the slider which you had mentioned when I texted you.

I am very sorry this guest did not have a 5 star stay. My goal is always to provide a 5 star stay. However some things are out of my control. I do not own or manage the place above me but I do know who lives there. I could have reached out to them and ask them to be mindful of people below them which is what I will do now. I am sure they did not realize they were being too noisy for the people below. As far as the pools, we purchase an annual pool pass for our guests to use. I do not have any control over them and it sounds like one of the hot tubs did not work. We offer 2 locations for indoor pools and hot tubs. All of this is listed in the guest book. I would understand a 3 star review if it actually had something to do with the actual condo. This condo is high end and renovated throughout. It has beautiful tile heated floors throughout, fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances. You will not find this in a hotel room for $99 a night which is what this guest paid mid week.
