Great Location For Ski / Tubing at Shanty Creek Resorts!

With a short walk to The Lakeview Hotel and Summit tubing park, or 3-mile drive to the Schuss slopes, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium is conveniently located to all the amenities at Shanty Creek Resorts. Comfortable, quiet and spacious accommodations with stone fireplace, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and heated tile in both baths, king bed in both bedrooms, full living room and in-unit laundry (great for drying that outer wear after a day on the slopes). Accommodates up to 8 guests.

Guests are welcome to use the indoor pool at The Lakeview. Access to the cross country trails is just across the street. Save some energy for an awesome sledding hill just off of the back deck.

At Shanty Creek Resorts you are 2 miles from downtown Bellaire and Short’s Brewery, 45 - 50 minutes to Traverse City, Petoskey or Gaylord! Truly a convenient location to take in so many great destinations in northern Michigan.

Note: While this unit is on the lower level, The Legend Cottages are built in to the side of a hill. All guests should be comfortable navigating 1 1/2 flights of stairs to reach the entry.

This was a very clean and beautiful condo. We really enjoyed the large deck/porch overlooking the first hole on the legend. Great place to hang out and close out the evening.

Beautiful location and welcoming space to relax. Very clean. Very spacious. Perfect for our girls getaway with mom and sisters. Heated floors were fabulous for the cold mornings. The fireplace was just perfect for creating the cozy environment we were looking for. Kitchen had what we needed to cook a few meals. Communication with the host was timely and helpful. The view and the balcony were superb. Seriously 10 out of 10.

This is a great place to stay with spacious porch, wonderful rockers, and lovely view!! We enjoyed seeing golfers tee off in the morning. Was perfect for two couples with plenty of comfortable space and privacy. Convenient to DeWitt marina and boating. Will definitely be back!

This condo was perfectly located away from all the hustle and bustle of Traverse City but close enough to enjoy everything the area had to offer. The mornings were quiet and peaceful, drinking my coffee on the back deck looking over the golf course.

Absolutely beautiful condo over looking the Legend golf course! Enjoyed the patio so much both in the morning with our coffee watching the golfers and in the evening watching the sunset! It was very quiet and clean! Beds were comfortable as were the livingroom furniture (which was barely used since the patio was so lovely)… the 2nd room was more like a small efficiency and was perfect to close out the kids mess! The bath tubs were lovely and the showers had great water pressure! Already booked our week for next summer and we cannot wait!

The Lee family lives down state and are original owners of this condo, which was constructed in 1998. We are avid golfers, skiers and general outdoor enthusiasts, taking advantage of all 4 seasons at Shanty Creek Resorts.

Why they chose this property

Our family has been big fans of Shanty Creek and northern Michigan since we first visited in the early 1990's. Even today we seem to find new adventures each time we are Up North. Shanty Creek is such a convenient central location for day trips to Traverse City or the Sleeping Bear Dunes area, Petoskey and Harbor Springs, Mackinaw Island, the Jordan River Valley, or all locations in between. Whether we are here in summer, fall or winter, the resort has so much to offer. And we never tire of that awesome view off of the back deck.
