Responsive host and clean and spacious house. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out, kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook. We stayed in winter so we didn't use the outside much, but took advantage of the sauna and hot tub after we returned from our ski day. Would stay again.

Great for a Friends Weekend

This is a great house for a large group. It is clean and well appointed. Everything was in working order and the owner was easy to work with and very responsive to questions. We’re hoping to go back again next year. Highly recommended!

Long time friends making new memories!!

We had a group of 5 couples and myself and the house size was perfect and very comfortable. The views of lake make cottage home relaxing, and offer beautiful sunrises. We took advantage of renting a pontoon boat that is available and docked right on Dewey Lake across the street from cottage. Group enjoyed boat rides and fishing. Thanks Bill for sharing your Lake home with us, highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it.

Spacious location for an extended family trip

We spent Mother's Day weekend at Bill's property and it was excellent. My in-laws arrived first and Bill showed them around. There was plenty of space for our extended family. The kids had a great time in the game room and we all especially loved using the kayaks and paddleboat. We would absolutely stay there again in the future. Bill was available via text if we had any questions.

Flip Flop Retreat

Our trip was an extended, early spring, weekend getaway with friends and family including 8 adults, 4 adult children (18-21) and 2 children (13-16) and we had a great time! First, Bill is an outstanding host. He is very easy to work with, was very informative, and returned our calls/texts promptly. We would definitely like to work with him again. The house is beautiful and has three levels. Upstairs had 3 King bedrooms and full bath. The Main level had a Queen Bedroom, Master Bath, Living room, dining room & kitchen. There is also a large deck off the dining area which has great views of the lake directly across the street. The basement had a King Bedroom, a Queen Bunk Bed room and then a Twin Bunk room. It also had a full bath, kitchen, small living room and a game room with Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Foosball & a Dart Board. The house is very clean, modern and has an open concept with high ceilings on the main level so it was a great space for us all to be together playing games etc. The house is directly across from Dewey Lake and they have a large cemented area on the water which will be great for lounging, fishing, boating and swimming in the summer. We went to Dockside Dans for lunch and it was very good and reasonably priced. The house is also only 30 minutes to St. Joe's which is a nice area with local shops and Kilwins Ice Cream Parlor. We would definitely come back again, hopefully at some point in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful lake. Thanks again Bill....5 stars!

Great Lake house stay

We really enjoyed our week at this property! The location is fantastic and it’s a large space with plenty of room - we had four families and small children. The dock and lake area in front of the house was perfect. There was a nice sandy area for kids and the lily pad was a hit. The owner was communicative from the beginning and made the whole process really smooth. Would highly recommend this spot and would definitely return for another vacation.

Very nice property

We were in town for my sons wedding and my husband and I stayed here with my 3 sons and some of his groomsmen. We had more than enough room and everything that we needed. The house is very nice and very clean. Beautiful view. It was nice to be able to walk down to the water. If we had more time we would have rented the pontoon. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean and had plenty of room for a larger group. Situated on the lake, I can see how this would be a great summer destination. We stayed in February, 2022. Being off-season, we ended up spending a good portion of our time in the house. It was a comfortable stay that was enjoyed by both adults and young kids.

Even the weekend weather could not dampen our family's spirits. It was such a beautiful and comfortable house, we didn't mind staying indoors most of the time looking out those the amazing lakeview windows. Amazing house you don't want to miss

We had a large group that wanted space for adults to be separate from kids, wanted entertainment to for the kids, and a lake to fish. This place checked all the boxes. Great layout to be together but also spread out, amazing game room for the kids, right on the lake for fishing, and a HUGE yard for the kids to play in. Bill was amazing, very accommodating and responsive. This is a must-rent house that we will for sure be coming back to.

Perfect Place to Celebrate a Milestone Birthday

Bob was a responsive owner beginning with the the reservation. He maintained contact and provided great information ahead of the trip. He met us at the property and walked us through so we could settle in easily. The home itself was spacious and cozy. The view of the lake was stunning! The weather did not cooperate but we were able to enjoy the view from the common areas. The kitchen provided every gadget to make our stay easy as well. It was great to find things that we needed but forgot at home. Sometimes a group of women can be a challenge to satisfy. This home checked all of the boxes and gave a GREAT surprise to the birthday girl. It was an absolute joy to celebrate her 50th birthday with friends in a fantastic home perfectly situated in a little slice of heaven.

Outstanding lake house

Stayed with a group of friends, and the house was perfect! Excellent lake views from most areas of the house, including several bedrooms. Our favorite spot was the elevated front deck off of the dining area, with access to the front yard. Can't beat it! A close second favorite was the lakefront patio (great for bonfires and grilling), which had plenty of seating. The second kitchen in the basement was a nice touch as well! The option to rent the owner's pontoon, which is right on the grounds, was huge for our group. And perhaps most importantly, the owner Bill is a great guy whom you'll love working with. He was extremely friendly, accommodating, responsive, helpful, and provided great recommendations. Overall, our stay was outstanding!

A Great trip!

We had such a great time! The kids were 7,5,4,2 and 2 months. They loved swimming on the property, the raft and the splash pad! The game room was so much fun for everyone. Bill was awesome, available at any time with great solutions. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway anytime of the year!

This is a great property to getaway anytime of the year. My in-laws own a house on the lake next to Dewy and we needed additional space for a weekend. Bill was great to work with from the start. Very responsive from booking through check-out. I would keep this property in mind year round as not only is summer great in the area, the fall, winter, and spring months have the own positives as well. We stayed in April and the weather was in the mid 50's. Bill had firewood ready for us to build a fire by the lake or up by the house. The home had tons of space. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked-in as we thought the home exceeded the pictures online. I would definitely recommend staying here anytime of the year.

Amazing home, location and views!!!

We had a group of 5 couples and the home was nothing short of PERFECT. There was plenty of space in the home with comfortable beds. Views of Dewey Lake from the home were amazing. A nice big yard for football, cornhole and games. Short drives to breweries, local pubs and wineries which all had delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Home owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Our group is looking forward to our next stay.
