The Palm Frond - Upgraded Studio at PalmView of Sanibel with Bikes

Summary:

Redesigned in 2024 as part of a TV show, this cozy studio cottage features 250 sqft. of optimized island space with a queen bed, a full bathroom and a kitchenette. Walk or bike to enjoy swimming, shelling, dining and shopping. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the miles and miles of beaches and bike paths Sanibel has to offer, full of fun under the sun.



The Space:

This suite is located within the historic PalmView of Sanibel, where each room is beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. The PalmView offers charming fully equipped cottages within walking distance to Sanibel’s famous shelling beaches and the Gulf of Mexico.



We are pet friendly for up to two dogs up to 50lbs each. If you will be traveling with pets, please notify us after confirming your booking so that we can update your reservation accordingly. Per pet fee of $75 will apply.

Guest Access:

Guests enjoy free access to internet, bikes, beach gear, grill and cooking area as well as a communal laundry room. One parking space per unit.



The Neighborhood:

The cottage is situated on the desirable East End of Sanibel, which is equidistant to almost every sought after beach on Sanibel. You will be near restaurants, shopping, and activity, while still far enough removed to be reminded that you are on vacation. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic.



Getting Around:

We recommend bikes or a golf cart to get around.

Guests must complete rental agreement prior to their stay.

A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.

It was a short, solo vacay, and this studio was exactly what I needed. I appreciate the use of free bikes and washer and dryer. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It’s a short walk to a public beach at the end of the road. Super convenient!

Loved this unit perfect for me and my dogs!!! And the proximity to the beach was perfect! Would recommend to anyone who travels with their pets . Unit was clean and came with dishes and microwave and fridge .my stay was short but if I was there longer I would have taken advantage of the outside sitting area! Great find!

Bikes were a plus and the venue is cozy and quaint! Had a wonderful 2 night stay and the location was excellent to the water and also Periwinkle and businesses. Bathroom sinks are small and only one place setting of dishes in the room and no travel sized shampoo in the bathroom as advertised. WiFi was shotty.

Everything you could possibly need

I loved the place we stayed! It was newly renovated and was very comfortable. The room my daughter and I got was very tiny, but was enough room for the two of us. What I liked most was everything you needed for the beach was there for your convenience. Having bikes made things easier because depending on the time of year you go traffic can be heavy, so riding a bike helps! It’s a little over a block away to the beach so we packed the car and drove down and unloaded, then drove back to the room and got the bike and took it to the beach for parking.
