Great location good stay

Host was very informative, accommodating and very responsive. Went out of her way to have property manager get me a hairdryer. Location is in a wonderful area with lots of things to do near by. Only thing needed was a firm pillow.

Ah Rebecca: Sorry I didn't have a hair dryer when you arrived. I don't use one and I simply didn't think of it. I have one now though. And a firm pillow - I have extra in the closets but each person has their specific preferences and that's hard to predict. My manager said you enjoyed my condo and I am pleased to hear that. I hope you return. Judith

Best Caribbean getaway

This is the place to stay in St. Maarten. Beautiful gated studio condo centrally located in Simpson Bay. If you don’t have a car, Simpson bay is the best place to stay as it walking distance to swim at Simpson Bay as well as having the most places to eat and drink. The owner, Judith, recommended an inexpensive car rental and we were able to explore the island. We are definitely coming back next year!

We were very happy with the way we were looked after from check in to check out.Our contact person at the condo was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She looked after us very quickly as if we were her only clients, even though we weren’t. Can’t say enough good things about her. The condo was , we can say one of the cleanest ones we’ve stayed at. It was better than the pictures on vrbo. Everything was exactly as described. It’s located with over 70 bars and restaurants within a10 minute walk. We stayed for a month and never felt the need to rent a car. We highly recommend renting this unit.We are looking forward to going back at some point.

Shawn and Janet were amazing guests -- very communicative, considerate, clean, kind and thoughtful. They were respectful of my unit and both my manager, Sylma, and I are very grateful. Do we hope they will come again? ABSOLUTELY! Thank you again, Shawn and Janet!

Exceptional

To say this unit is perfect would be an understatement. Remodelled studio with a great amount of space, good kitchen and bathroom. Washer and Dryer were a plus as was the chair swing on the balcony overlooking the awesome lap pool. The community itself is gated with 24 hour security, right in the center of Simpson Bay with easy access to great restaurants and night life.

Perfect Location!

This property was exactly as it shows on VRBO! A very cute studio set up. Even thought the bedroom was in the same space as the living room and kitchen, it was tastefully separated by shelving. Judith and her property manager was attentive for our needs and responded quickly. The view from the balcony was peaceful and quiet, facing the pool area. The location of this property was perfect! We did rent a car to visit the french side of the island but you could easily walk to anything you need from this location.

An Excellent Choice

This property is as advertised! Very clean, updated apartment, modern kitchen, and very quiet. The location is about a 5 minute walk to the bar at the Simpson Bay Yacht Club where you can view the beautiful private yachts, coming and going. Many great restaurants are located nearby. The apartment is on the yacht basin, a 7 minute walk to the beaches. The grocery mart is across the street. The owner is gracious, and will provide extensive information about the area, great dining, and places to visit. This is a great choice for a couple's getaway. We had a great time and would return for another visit.

Horrendous experience STAY AWAY!!!

The owner of this unit has been harassing us and has accused of making her cooktop inoperable. The Cooktop NEVER worked during our stay AND her property manager is in full agreement with us and not her. The first attempt at using it, it would not work and the property manager could not get it to work either. Beyond that the clothes dryer never worked and we were told this the first day of our stay. An electrician came the next day and confirmed that the island has frequent power surges which likely caused an electronic fault damaging the cooktop and perhaps the dryer as well at some point well before our stay. Stay away.

For the first time in my 23 years of renting to lovely guests, i encountered this nasty , evil And angry Man. And, my first ever negative review. It’s ok though. I won’t recommend him to anyone and I won’t rent to him again! Our world is crazy enough so my manager and I will move on positively! Keep smiling and take care of one another!

Excellent stay! I would definitely stay her again. This apartment is centrally located in Simpson Bay, walking distance from restaurants, bars, and resorts on Billy Folly Road Welfare Road. The closest beach is Kim Sha, which we were able to walk to in 5 minutes. The apartment is located within a gated complex with guards on duty 24/7. The vibe within the community was very laid back, pleasant, and safe. The apartment had everything we needed including a fridge, microwave, oven, dishware, closet space, towels, and an iron. The balcony with the view of the marina was an accurate match to the pictures online. The manager and the owner both make themselves available before and during your stay to answer any questions and address any issues that might arise. If you're traveling alone or as a couple, I can't think of any reason not to stay here.
