Modern 1 bedroom apartment newly built. Has backup generator for when city power is off. Marble floors through out. All stainless steel appliances in kitchen and granite counter top. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, Gas Grill. Hi speed WiFi internet. Live TV/ Movies in living room and bedroom. CD/DVD player. Air conditioning in all areas.
Baby crib available to use.
Roof deck to get great views of surrounding areas including Simpson Bay, French side, Beacon Hill, Pelican keys, Kim Sha. Great area to relax and have a glass of wine.. Roof deck has built in L sofa, 3 lounges and a side table, Grill, sink and a Mini fridge.
Bedroom has queen size bed with 8 extra storage drawers.
Closet door is mirrored with lights inside. Ironing board, Safe and Hair Dryer in closet. All linens and beach towels provided. Reading lights on each side of headboard.
TV in bedroom has live TV

Living room has a Queen sized Pull out couch that can accommodate 2 extra people. Custom book case with assortment of books. Also large lounge chair.
Dining table seats 4, with 3 additional bar seating at counter. TV with live TV channels.

Balcony has 3 lounge chairs, a small table and a custom bench. Gas grill, mini fridge and sink.
3 beach chairs, umbrella and cooler also provided for use. Parking right at your entrance. About 90 steps to the beach. Borders one of the most luxurious properties on St Maarten - Las Arenas. There are cats and dog and sometimes a chicken in the outside yard area.

Great communication, good location overall and the deck was the main event!!! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! I highly recommend this location! Host was super accommodating and very timely with communication which was key for me! Also Lucy, their dog was so adorable! Greeted me every morning!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Mark and Rocheta were so kind and helpful. The apartment is in a fantastic location and the Rooftop is gorgeous. We spent most every night on the rooftop.

Rashida and Mark are great hosts. The apartment is supplied with sheets, towels (both bath and beach) a kitchen with all the appliances you will need, and even has a safe for valuables. It is a great location and is steps from the beautiful Simpson's Bay beach. Great roof top patio to watch planes. Walkable to shops and restaurants on Airport Road. Overall, a great place at a good price.

Great beach location

Great Apartment

This apartment was a great homebase location for our 12-night stay over the holidays. It is a cute apartment true to the pictures, clean, well-appointed and great hosts. It will be on our short list of locations to stay on our next trip back to the island.

We enjoyed staying in St. Maarten and the beaches are beautiful. Our host was pleasant and hepful at all times. The restaurants were first class and did not have a bad meal. Always felt safe and the people were very polite.

We totally enjoyed our week stay at the Top Deck Apartment. This private residence is located in a quiet residential area with a wonderful host. It has everything you need and is centrally located close to a large grocery store and several eating places and an easy walk to the beach. The little extras like lint brushes, extra large beach towels and chairs and ice maker are much appreciated.

Fabulous stay

My stay in St. Maarten was wonderful. The apartment was even nicer than I imagined. The location was perfect. Mark and Rashita couldn't not have been nicer or more helpful. I would recommend this apartment to anyone traveling by themselves, with a friend, partner, or child. I hope to be back again very soon.

A neat and modern 1-bedroom apartment that is conveniently located near the airport (5 minutes drive from car rental pickup), with walking proximity to the main road with lots of eating places and shops, and less than 1 minute walk from an excellent white sand beach (Simson Bay).The apartment is on the second level and accessible using side stairs. Parking was on the road just outside the apartment on the street.The apartment was clean, in good condition, and well equipped with proper cookware, tableware, kitchen utensils, and a washer/dryer combo unit. The photos shown were a true representation of the layout and look of the apartment.Check in was simple and the place was properly prepared complete with linen, towels (including beach towels), and basic toiletries. The area was very quiet, except for the sound of the aircrafts taking off and landing at the airport (but there were little airport activity during the night). The hosts were friendly and helpful, availabe all the time (as they lived on the compound), but at no time were they intrusive.The rental experience was overally excellent. While it can sleep 4 considering the pull out sofa in the living room, we would recommend it as best suitable for a couple.

Topdeck at Simpson Bay

We stayed at Topdeck in April 2023 and absolutely loved this place. Hosts are excellent and answer your enquiries right away. The place is exactly as described and proximity to the Simpson Bay and all the amenities alongside Airport road is a huge plus. Less than a minute to the pristine white sand beach and walking distance to restaurants, shopping and night life.The star feature of the property is its top deck. Great spot to watch planes take off and land, equipped with BBQ, fridge, sink, umbrella and generous size sectional. Needless to say we spent quite a few hours there. To sum it up, if you are looking for a great place to spend your vacation in Sint Maarten then Topdeck fits the bill perfectly!

We had a wonderful time in St. Maarten and part of what made it so wonderful was this beautiful apartment and extremely accommodating owner Mark. The apartment was very clean, updated and the kitchen was full of everything we needed. Not only did we have everything we needed to cook meals, but my fiance especially appreciated the quality knives! Mark greeted us when we got there, gave us a few tips about St. Maarten and the apartment itself and was immediately available anytime we texted him with questions or needed help with something. The rooftop deck was put to good use every evening as we drank margaritas and used the grill to cook up some fantastic local fish. We even got engaged on it as we watched the sunset!! When we come back, there is no question, we will be staying here. Thank you Mark!!

We were first timers on SXM. We couldn't have asked for a better host than Mark. He communicated to any concern in minutes. He was so friendly but not intrusive. The animals on the property were an added bonus. One of the people on property was Rashita who was an awesome masseuse. Wevdid 90 minutes of wonderful. Where does the time go? The pictures on the site are very accurate. It's very close to the airport (which we loved). But it quiets down just after sundown. The location is perfect. Minutes from the airport, but 10 minutes to the French side. We also rented a car. So convenient. We will definitely be back.

The place was clean and comfortable. It has a welcoming vibe. Very short walking distance to the beach. The rooftop was a great place to hangout after a long day at the beach and site seeing. The kitchen has everything you need: plates, silverware, baking dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, etc. The washer/dryer came in handy. The book of instructions for a/c, tv, etc was very detailed.

Enjoy your stay is an understatement!

An excellent property that is taken care of. The neighborhood is quiet. Yeah you’re within minutes of any restaurants and live music. I come back-and-forth to the island quite often and this was a wonderful visit.

Growing up here in the 70s and 80s was a great adventure for me. After spending 7 years in St Louis and San Antonio for college and work I decided to return to my island.. and my family. I am an aircraft engineer for American Airlines, an avid cyclist and love snorkeling the crystal waters. I live adjacent to the apartment in a separate house and am usually always around to assist you in any way. I can help with questions you may have and can direct you to any tours or fun things to do on the island.

Why they chose this property

I grew up in Simpson Bay from the age of three years old. My dad used to build large catamaran boats on this same beach but the company moved to Cole Bay. What makes this property unique

In St Maarten, the electricity and / or water service can at times be disrupted. This apartment is hooked up to a standby generator that automatically comes on if the city power does go off. The apartment also has a cistern and pump in the event that there is a city water disruption.
