About the host
Hosted by Ausra Radcliffe
I'm originally from Lithuania, where I pursued a career in music, earning a degree in piano, and spent several years immersed in the world of ballroom dancing — chasing precision, artistry, and discipline in everything I did. After moving to the United States at 22, I found myself facing health challenges that changed the course of my life. That difficult chapter sparked a deep personal interest in wellness, and I set out to understand the body in a completely different way than I ever had before.
That journey eventually led me to earn a degree as a naturopathic doctor, with a specialty in digestive disorders. My own experience navigating health struggles has stayed close to my heart ever since, and it continues to fuel my passion for helping others find their way back to feeling well — not just symptom by symptom, but as a whole, balanced person.
Beyond my clinical work, I've found another way to bring people together: buying and staging homes for my Wellness Reset Retreats. Each property is chosen and designed with intention, meant to feel like a true escape where guests can slow down and reconnect. When these homes aren't hosting retreats or welcoming our own family, we love opening them up to other families and travelers, in hopes of helping them create memories of their own.
Family time is one of the most important parts of my life, and traveling with my kids is a genuine passion of mine — there's nothing quite like exploring new places together. Each home we open reflects that same spirit: a space built for connection, rest, and joy, whether it's hosting a retreat, a family reunion, or a quiet getaway. It's a reflection of everything I care about — personal wellness, meaningful travel, and togetherness with the people I love.
Why they chose this property
I have always been captivated by Victorian-style homes. There's a timeless quality to them that makes me feel as though time slows down the moment I step inside, offering a genuine respite from the fast pace of modern life. Every turret, gable, stained-glass window, and hand-carved detail feels intentional, telling a story of the era it came from — a time when craftsmanship and character mattered as much as function.
These homes also evoke a deep sense of nostalgia in me, transporting me to some of the places I cherish most in the world, like France and Italy, with their old-world elegance, ornate architecture, and quiet historical grace. Wandering through a Victorian home feels a bit like wandering the cobblestone streets of a European village — full of charm, history, and a slower, more intentional way of living. It's this same feeling I hope to share with every guest who walks through the door: a chance to step away from the everyday and into something a little more timeless.
What makes this property unique
This house is a remarkable piece of history, originally built by a Titanic survivor and the visionary behind the Girl Scouts of America. Few homes carry a legacy quite like this one — a place where survival, resilience, and the founding spirit of an organization that has empowered generations of young women all intersect within the same walls. This unique blend of historical significance and architectural beauty makes the property truly one of a kind.
I am deeply proud to have invested in preserving such an extraordinary home, honoring its craftsmanship and character while ensuring that its storied past continues to be appreciated and celebrated for years to come. Every room carries a piece of that history, and it's a responsibility I don't take lightly.
It's my sincere hope that future families who stay here won't just enjoy their time within these walls, but will also feel a genuine connection to the rich legacy embedded in every corner of this home — a legacy of courage, vision, and lasting impact that continues on, one guest at a time.
