Small town charm within 15 minutes of Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks located in LaSalle County Illinois. Four Bedrooms, Two Bathrooms, and Modern Kitchen. Only 3 blocks to Tonica's restaurants and bars.
Located in the small town of Tonica, Illinois. A prairie village, proud in the sun, namesake of an Indian warrior, with street names steeped in history such as Uncas, proud warrior of the Mohicans, and LaSalle, intrepid explorer who opened the heart of the continent.
Tonica, nestled among productive farms hewn out of a previous wilderness. Long lost is the Illinois Central Railroad's twin iron bands which at one point linked the Village to the nation and the world. The train depot, now a memorial, was the site of the departures during our nation's tribulations and happy reunions after time well served. Boys in blue, khaki, and olive drab.
Tonica - for 178 years (1853 to 2025) an honorary pulse of the nation we can home.
