The pictures are not as described. When we arrived the access code was not working. Called them and they gave me a code that worked. The curtain fell down in the living room when i opened it. The king size bed was broken. The grill did not have a drip pan in it for us to cook our meals on. The cornhole game was not in the back as pictured. There is not a safe driveway to park in and it is not noted in the description to park on the street. The neighbor had us blocked in and would not come to the door to let us out. There were no washcloths to shower with
Pros: -affordable price for length of stay-great location; close enough to NOLA while being far enough away that you get a peaceful night's sleep-amount of space (2 bed- king and a full/1.5 bath and full kitchen and laundry, daybed doubling as a couch in the living room)-a sizeable backyard with lawn chairs, picnic table, and a grill-keurig machine with insert-your-own-coffee adapter-toaster-electric water kettle-kitchen provides- a few pans, utensils, cooking utensils, scissors, one thin plastic cutting board, plates, bowls, cups, foil-clean towels and linens provided-1 ice cube tray-full length mirror in hallway closet & extra blankets and pillowsCons: -the door to the backyard doesn't open all the way so some people will find it difficult to fit through it to access the back-wish the daybed had a taller back support for more comfortable lounge-bring your own fat, salt, pepper, etc if you plan to cook while there-a dangerous and highly inconvenient driveway; do not recommend attempting it with only a two wheel drive (we had trouble even with a four wheel drive truck)-the king bed dips and squeaks so much that it is terribly uncomfortable for the back and hips and waking up constantly due to these issues-that king bed is also not supported properly but by many many bricks and wood pieces-difficult to wash dishes- the kitchen sprayer doesn't work, extremely low water pressure, and difficulty getting hot water from the tap (use the kettle!)
