The hosts were very responsive and made sure we were prepared with thorough instructions for the house. The house itself was very nice! It was very clean and nicely appointed. It was very quiet and relaxing. We had a great time and would love to come back another time.

Great Little Place

Everything was really nice. The location was walking distance to multiple restaurants and the public beach.The house was spotless on arrival. We had an issue with a leaky sink and the owner responded immediately and it was fixed same day.Hot tub was perfect and we saw lots of wildlife too.

Had an amazing stay at the Bungalow! We were able to swim at beach, kayak everyday, rented boat around the corner and hiked. Cute vibe, affordable and clean! Location was amazing for everything! Highlights were walking to Wallys for a killer breakfast, Glass Factory for Dinner at Ledges and day trip to Bushkills. 5 Stars! Thank you.

Quiet getaway

My husband and I booked a weekend getaway as Christmas presents to each other. It was quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was nice after going for a hike on a cold day. Owner was responsive to any questions we asked and the property was exactly as expected from the listing.

Weekend get lake get away

My family together with our 2 puppies had a wonderful stay at the Bear Run Bungalow. It was a walking distance to Lake Wallenpaupack , an ice cream place and restaurants. We enjoyed grilling and just to relax in The backyard after fun at the lake. Listing is very accurate and most importantly place is clean and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Will definitely stay at this place again and highly recommended.

What a wonderful getaway! Within walking distance to the lake. Backyard wonderful for small intimate BBQ and hot tub to soak and relax. Love the string lights to add some ambience. Everything inside up to date, modern and comfortable. Matt was amazing to communicate with. Best part was being able to bring our dog! Outdoor shower if needed and dog waste bags were provided! Will be back for leaf peeping for sure!

Summer vacay

The house has been completely renovated and is beautiful. I would have liked it if the side yard and back yard was kept tidier and the poison ivy was removed and we would have been able to make use of outdoor space. I would add window coverings for the doors.It was a bit further then expected from the water, from the description I did believe we would be closer. The house sits on a very quiet street, which we loved! Got away from the noise and hustle and bustle The owners couldn't have been nicer and we would definitely stay there again!

Just a few notes in response to the negatives; Unfortunately the side wooded yard/lot is not our property so it is not something we can clean up or touch as it is a wooded lot owned by someone else. The grass was a little longer due to my lawn maintence guy on his yearly familty vacation and then storms impacted the schedule (Typically we cut it every 10 days and it got a little longer due to the above) I had him cut it the day before he left to be safe but it grew quickly. As far as distances from the lake and everything we outline everything in our discription multiple times directly from maps distances for full transparency so not so how we are misleading as we try not to be. On the bottom is distances to every attraction and in the general discription we list exact distances as well. I am sorry you thought the lake would be closer, but for a non-lakefront property/prices you cant get much closer than 500' away and 700' to the beach.

This property was perfect for my family of 5. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the gaming shed. The house is clean and looks new. The appliances are top notch. The washer and dryer came in handy too. Would definitely recommend this property. Matthew was wonderful to work with and responded almost immediately each time!

Perfect spot to grocery store, dining, ice cream, water sports and the cute town of Hawley.Loved the private location.Not many neighbors.Stay was wonderful with basic amenities provided in both kitchen and bathroom.We bought a projector so we could watch movies outside near the fire and jacuzzi.
