Great location for weddings, hiking, wineries, festivals in the Elkin, Dobson, Mt Airy area. We hiked Stone Mountain, visited Mt. Airy and attended a wedding. A wonderful weekend and the price of the rental was very reasonable.

Perfect location for a stay just down the way from the winery where my best friend was married. Dinner in downtown Elkin was delicious and adorable. Internet was fast (online homework) and house was cozy.

We planned our trip around visiting Mt. Airy and the "Mayberry" experience. The Vrbo was located about 30 miles away. The property was located on a rural road, with the host living close by. It was quiet, which we like. The exterior was well-kept and clean. I loved the porch! The interior was clean and neat. While we did not cook any meals, the toaster and coffee maker were used everyday and worked well. One of the issues we have had in past rentals is the overuse of air fresheners. While there were two that we noticed, they were not overpowering. The bed we used was comfortable. We appreciated the two bathrooms, which allowed us to get ready for the days' activities at the same time. I loved the decorations! It was homey and colorful. The only suggestion and I am sure it's not a feasible fix, is a wider driveway or a space to turn around would be ideal, as backing out onto the road could be hazardous. Thanks for hosting us!

Great place to stay

Check-in was super easy and it was clean. Location wasn’t what I expected (it was a neighborhood) but it was central to everywhere we wanted to go. Excellent and I would recommend.

Cute and Comfy Place Close to Downtown

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay. The rental is very cozy, clean and perfect if you're wanting to spend time in downtown Elkin. It's just a quick 5 minute drive. We hope to stay again.

Just Perfect

The home was in a good location, close to everything. Very cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Worked out great for us while in town visiting family for Thanksgiving. Host was very friendly. Would stay again for sure.
