Alarcon Ranch is a very unique property. Its rural setting is very representative of the area. The convenient accommodations were appreciated as we needed to stay in Weldon. There is a lovely view of part of the Kern River Valley and we woke up to pet goats next to the cabin also enjoying the view. Very fun. Destany and Michael are very friendly and helpful. The space has the basics, a basket of goodies, and is very quiet.

Destiny was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Her and her family have a lovely home and create a safe and welcoming environment. The land was so peaceful and welcoming too. We will be back and totally recommend this host and their property

Great little home

A great place to get away from noises and lights of the city. Destany was an extremely welcoming host and always attentive to see if we needed anything. Loved the goats and the pig. My daughter had a blast running around and loved meeting Destany and her daughter. 10/10 would stay again.

Goats!

Loved the goats, chickens, fresh eggs, views and hosts! Not the most comfortable bed for people who prefer a firm mattress.

Such a nice family

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying with our host. The spot we stayed in was everything we needed as we had our own 1 br 1ba apartment that wasn’t connected to the main house. We had privacy, and goats right outside. There was a pet pig running around, it felt great to be able to relax and just be ourselves while we stayed at the property. The hosts and their daughter were absolutely wonderful. I didn’t get to meet Destiny as she was working, but she was so helpful with recommendations for food and fun activities around the area. Her husband and daughter were so nice and welcoming when we met them. I would recommend to any of my friends that were traveling to this area to relax, and my fishing buddies as well. Great fishing just a couple miles up the road. Wonderful experience
