The house was very cute and spacious, it was similar to our old home. There was everything we needed for our weekend stay and everyone had their own rooms as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Girls road trip

Me and a few girlfriends stayed at this property on a road trip through Louisiana! We got lucky and got to stay the night of the Christmas parade. The home is beautiful, with ample natural light. The beds were comfy and place was clean!

I was born and raised in New Iberia, and it is a great honor and privilege to own a piece of my hometown's history: the Andrepont Home, built in 1890. Hospitality is a core value in our family. So hosting guests in our home is a natural extension of who we are. I also love interior design and own a small rug and antique boutique, so renovating and decorating this home with period-appropriate furniture and features was a real joy.

Historic East Main Street is the nestled in the heart of New Iberia. Here you can stroll down the tree-lined sidewalks and greet friendly neighbors on their porches. Just past the row of historic homes, you’ll arrive in downtown where you’ll find a delightful array of shops, restaurants, and churches. All the while you are only one block away from the Bayou Teche. If you’re into well-preserved Victorian estates and cottages that are in walking to great restaurants, then this neighborhood would be for you.

What makes this property unique

Maison Andrepont is the only historic Main Street home available on VRBO. We restored this home to its former glory in 2021--carefully preserving the charm and character of this Victorian home, while at the same time adding modern conveniences to provide maximum comfort. Every piece of furniture, art, and fixture was thoughtfully sourced to make this home feel authentic, homey, beautiful, and elegant.
