Laura & James are such gracious hosts! The Loft is a wonderful rural get away on a beautiful piece of land. If you need to take time to regroup in any way, this is your place! Peaceful, lovely, comfortable. I will return & & hopefully make my stay longer. it was an awesome experience.
We had the best time at the loft and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. The scenery is beautiful and the animals are friendly and come right up to you to hang out. We loved getting to explore the propoerty, too! If you stay here, you also have to go enjoy Wayvine, the winery, thats right up the road. The wine and atmosphere is incredible! Laura and James were amazing hosts who responded quickly and made sure all our needs were met. Overall, a perfect weekend getaway and we would love to come back!

Ethereal Farms
The Loft was such a beautiful place for a quick get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The farm and surrounding land is so calming and peaceful. The hosts were so lovely and sent us information about the farm, the animal friends on it and the many things to do in the area. We would definitely stay again!
We really enjoyed our one-night stay in this sweet space. It was lovely to walk the grounds, meet the animals, and be in nature.Bedding was most comfortable and the space very clean!
Beautiful country setting close to hiking trails. The farm had many animals which my grandbabies loved to interact with! There are two comfortable workspaces which my son and his wife had to use for work. Laura and James were perfect hosts! Highly recommend staying here!

Hi Kay,
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re glad you and your family enjoyed the peaceful country setting, the animals, and the workspace setup. It was a pleasure hosting you all, and we’re thrilled your grandbabies loved spending time with the animals. We appreciate the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
Warm regards,
Laura and James
Laurie was great to work with and a great location. Something’s were missing like a hairdryer, face cloths and different sugar options for coffee. It would also have been nice to have some cold bottled water options upon arrival from a long travel day and maybe a bottle of wine chilling.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm so glad you enjoyed the farm and that you found communication easy. I really appreciate your thoughtful suggestions regarding the amenities - that kind of input helps me make sure future stays are even better. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I'd love to welcome you back anytime!
I am giving the stay 2 stars instead of 1 because of the tranquil location. Unfortunately there were challenges beginning to end. The instructions said to go around the back of the garage to the door. There is no marked path and no signs so you’re left feeling lost. Then the door was so swollen shut that my boyfriend (who works out a lot) had to use both hands and his body weight to open and close it. They key provided locks this door on the first floor and not the second floor door to the unit. This was confusing because the gym and sauna on the first floor are supposed to be open to all guests. But if left open there would be no way to secure the loft. As we walked inside, the musty, damp smell was overwhelming. I have bad allergies and I immediately got congested and started coughing. During our stay we had all of the window AC units (which are loud), fans and dehumidifier running nonstop just to make it breathable. It took close to 36 hours for it to not bother my allergies. I think they need proper ventilation to deal with an underlying issue and it should be running well in advance of anyone staying there. The second issue was the rodent feces found on the bathroom vanity, shower, the back bedroom bedding, and the front bedroom chairs. We cleaned it up the first night only to find more the next morning. I was done. I appreciate rustic decor and historical architecture, but this remodel seems half done with more attention paid to the aesthetic than function.
We stayed in the loft and it was very cozy and comfortable. The farm setting was very nice. Laura was helpful and gracious. We especially liked having the two friendly turkeys follow us around!
Setting was so charming and peaceful, the perfect place for our family wedding nearby. Well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication, details, directions - all thorough and accurate. Hosts were fabulous and super attentive! They even jumped right on it when we noticed a couple bees had gotten in and took care of it so well! Only regret is I wish we'd had more time to explore and enjoy this beautiful place!

Ethereal Farms
The Loft at Ethereal Farm was perfect in every way. We're actually local to the area and needed somewhere to host family for a night. I'm so happy that we found The Loft so close by. It was extremely clean & cozy with beautiful decor & scenery. The best part about our stay was getting a surprise visit from one of the resident donkeys. I highly recommend staying here!
Adorable 2nd floor apartment on a beautiful farm with winery and goats. Very secluded and quiet. Everything we could want supplied … loads of towels, Keurig, Smores Fixings, bunches of blankets, a very responsive thermostat … just a cozy treat in a cold late autumn night.
Charming loft with plenty of friendly farm animals
My wife, 14-year-old son, and I had a great time during our two-night stay at Ethereal Farms. We felt like we were deep in the country but the farm is located only about 20 minutes away from I-95 and 10 minutes from a Walmart. We chose the property because my autistic son loves animals, and the farm had horses, goats, donkeys, turkeys, ducks, and chickens that we could see up close. We enjoyed ourselves on the hiking trail on the property and used the bikes as well to ride up to the main road. On both nights, we roasted marshmallows and made s’mores using the fire pit.
The loft was very comfortable, clean, and private. It was well-stocked with supplies and we took advantage of the sauna on the ground floor. The kitchen is small and probably would not be suitable for a lot of cooking, but we made simple meals and ordered out (very tasty pizza nearby) and so it worked out for us.
Laura was a very hospitable and attentive host. We deeply appreciated her kindness and responsiveness throughout our stay. She even took us into the goat pen (directly across form the loft) and then later rounded up the horses (a couple of different times) so that my son could feed and pet them. We would gladly to return to Ethereal Farms someday.
Perfect get away for our family. The hosts are very responsive and available. Gorgeous property in the country and close to the quant town of Oxford, PA.
Super cute and quiet little apartment on a quaint farm. Laura was very responsive to questions. Wish our trip to see family had allowed an extra day to just explore the farm!
