The Harbour House is located in the idyllic village of Pennan in the North East of Scotland.The property has a FIVE STAR GRADING FROM VISIT SCOTLAND.The house sleeps up to 6 people and is furnished,decorated and maintained to the highest standards.A wonderful relaxing stopover between visiting Edinburgh and Loch Ness and the Highlands.

We live in Aboyne a small town close to Balmoral Castle and the Cairngorms National Park.We have been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. We own a restaurant on Royal Deeside as well as one of Scotland`s only 5 star hostels- Habitat @Ballater.
Along with our three teenage children we have travelled extensively in Europe and North America.We like to relax when we are on holiday and enjoy nice,comfortable surroundings after a days sightseeing. We have tried to provide everything that our guests will require to have a fabulous holiday in Scotland.

Pennan is one of the prettiest coastal villages in Scotland.It is situated on the Banffshire coast which is a real 'hidden gem' .The whole coastline is dotted with lovely villages in spectacular settings,there are interesting historical towns such as Banff and Portsoy.The birdwatching and wildlife are world famous.Being based in Pennan means you can easily drive to wonderful beaches,visit ancient castles and explore the wonderful history and culture of rural Aberdeenshire.

What makes this property unique

Pennan is quaint,quiet and peaceful.The 30 or so houses all line the single street and everyone knows each other.When you come out of the front door you are right on the harbourside and next to the pebbled beach.
You can sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the fantastic sunsets.When it`s cold outside you can curl up in front of the fire and listen to the waves.
