Tack Room @ Redemption Ranch: Grill, Deck, Peaceful, Unique, Comfortable

Stop in off the trail for a one-of-a-kind experience in this newly remodeled tack room. These cozy quarters offer all the comforts of home, surrounded by pastoral fields. Grill a meal out on the porch for you and your posse. Kick back 'round the fire pit under the stars and roast a few marshmallows. Inside, there are a variety of board games to enjoy and a smart TV for movie night. A trip in the Ozarks is always better with a stay in the Tack Room at the Redemption Ranch.

The Tack Room is arranged in a studio style, with a private bathroom offering a shower, toilet and sink. The full kitchen boasts a stove and oven, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and all of the cookware and place settings you might need. The comfy sofa pulls out into double bed to provide more sleeping options. There are blackout shades on the windows to allow for peaceful rest even after the sun has risen. Feel free to draw back the shades to see the horses being feed just across the drive. Immerse yourself in the country experience seated on the covered porch. The fire pit and grill, just out front, are a great options for searing that steak to perfection. This cozy space is tastefully decorated and as sharp as a Tack!

You will have this whole space to enjoy. The front porch and gravel area are your private spot for grilling and gathering 'round the firepit. Please note that you will have two available parking spaces to utilize. Since this is a working farm, it is important to stay within these spaces so as to not block the drive. The pool and tennis courts are not intended for guest use.

Please note, my home welcomes dogs. To ensure that your booking total includes the pet fee, ensure that pets are listed in your guest count at the time of booking.

- Pets must be fully housebroken and potty only outside.
- Please clean up yard deposits and dispose of them in an outdoor trashcan.
- Pets must remain kenneled when left unattended.
- Pets must be kept off the furniture and beds.

We actually weren’t able to stay due to a massive snowstorm that went across Kansas into Missouri. However, he was so understanding and helpful and I was able to get a full refund. Mother Nature is unpredictable! If ever back on the area, I would definitely stay here!

I had business at a close location so was able to run back and forth throughout the day, which makes life easier. All around one of the best spots I’ve been yet. Highly recommend:)

The owners have clearly worked very hard to create this unique and cozy little haven. It set itself apart from our day-to-day experience, yet had the modern conveniences that kept our vacation simple and ready. We loved cooking over the fire one minute, then pulling popcorn out of the microwave the next. We felt well taken care of and enjoyed our stay immensely!

Family mini vacation

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this beautiful and spacious home! We were a family of 7, including two one-year-olds and a four-year-old, and the space was absolutely perfect for us. The house was incredibly family-friendly. It was baby-proofed and came equipped with baby gates and playpens, which made our stay so much easier and more relaxing. Our four-year-old loved spending time outside and had a blast playing with the basketball hoop. Another big plus was the separate track room guest house, where two of our family members stayed. It gave everyone a bit of extra space while still keeping us all close together. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we really appreciated how thoughtfully set up the home was for families. Would highly recommend! & We will definitely be looking forward to staying here again our next trip in town

Small, clean room in the country

A cute place for a couple to stay in the country. I would stay again and it was perfect for our needs, but I wish the listing would have provided a bit more info. I would recommend only bringing one more person, like a child up to age 10 since it’s one room. It was clean and we appreciated the Keurig and washer/dryer. The wifi was weak, which impacted my work needs, but it’s sometimes hard to get it in the country, so this isn’t a complaint to the hosts (who sent very nice emails checking on us). Note there is a “main house” very close to the Tack Room and it’s significantly louder once those guests arrive and you cannot use the tennis court or pool, which is fine, but I would have liked to have known these details in the listing. There was no place to run (or walk, unless it was in the grass) our dog to play fetch, so we were grateful to bring him, but glad he is small. For the price of the pet fee and cleaning, I will board him next time. But overall, this is a really neat little place!

Thank you for your lovely and thoughtful review of my home, Amanda. I am pleased to say that I have found a much faster and more reliable internet provider since your stay. I believe this will be a vast improvement. I have added that the pool and tennis courts on the property are not intended for guest use. Since neither of these amenities are listed anywhere in the description, I did not think to mention that before. Thank you for that insight. I am so glad you enjoy your stay and hope to see you folks back!
