I wholeheartedly agree with your observation about the caulking around the bathtub, and we have plans to address it this week or the next. I've also inspected other areas in the bathroom, and they seem to be fine at the moment. Given Haiku's humid climate, it's essential to keep an eye on these issues periodically. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I understand Fabian's concerns about the kitchen size and occasional ant visits. As I mentioned in my listings, we live in a natural, wild environment, and sharing the property with wildlife and insects is part of the experience. For a more pristine environment, I recommend the large and luxurious hotels in Wailea, where they not only fumigate their buildings but also their landscapes. Dear Keith and Guests, I’m so glad you found our place clean and open, the price was one of the lowest you were able to find, and that our property was well kept. Also, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience, since it presents us with a great opportunity to look further into improving our guests' experience. I'm sorry Keith that we did not meet your expectations, but if you ever decide to stay at our place again we won't charge you for your first night neither for the cleaning fee. We look forward to welcoming you again during the summer season, when most of our fruit trees are generally blooming with produce. Also, I only wish I would have known while you were here of your other needs, I would happily have provided you with a thicker mattress topper to make your stay feel more comfortable and at home. Please know that we find challenging to satisfy everyone's bed needs simultaneously, so we opted for a medium soft bed. As for the toiletries, to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable stay, please pay closer attention to our listing so you are expecting what is listed & described there. Please note that our studio offers TV/VCR/DVD plus movie library as we include on our site. Since from your feedback we are now looking at adding satellite Dish/TV + faster internet. Regarding internet speed, unfortunately the whole island's internet is connected to the same internet source, so when Maui’s lodging occupancy rate is over 96% as it was during your stay in February, the internet speed decreases dramatically everywhere; including at our farm. I’m sure this will be improved over time. For our future guests, we are happy to have created a prime environment at our property that helps disconnect from busy lives, is peaceful & quiet, and is 10 to 15 minutes away from touristy areas.
