Clarification for the Gentle Reader of this Review: With due respect to this Guest, there are not "Lots" of rules posted. The House Rules are displayed in discrete 5x7 frames in each bedroom, as required by our Maui County B&B Permit. In addition, there are three other small informational signs posted: A/C directions; reminders to turn off fans and a/c when away, and what not to flush down our septic system toilet. Other Guests have given favorable comments regarding the labeled light switches, describing them as "thoughtful". We're always about Guest comfort and convenience. Mahalo for reading. :)

Beautiful property with amazing views. Great spot to use for home base adventures around Maui. You can even see the observatory on the top of Haleakala! Nothing was more then a few hours away. Great hosts with well stocked kitchen and supplies.

We have stayed here previously and it’s always be a great place to stay in Haiku. The hosts are responsive, nice and very accurate with their information. The suite is always clean and well equipped. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for something in the Haiku area.

Home was perfect for us. Clean, well stocked with everything we needed and very close to road to Hana. Hosts were very welcoming and easy to work with. They were kind enough to leave snacks and breakfast items for us. Washer and dryer inside were greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend!

Great secluded spot! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the resort crowd but not too far that it becomes a chore to go see everything! Hosts are very attentive and have obviously been doing this a while! 12/10…would definitely stay here again!

Extremely clean, and so cozy! The location was GREAT for checking out north shore activities including the Road to Hana. Thank you for providing such a beautiful place to stay, we loved picking oranges off the fruit trees each day for some fresh squeezed juice and the treats were such a handy little addition to get us settled in.

We had a wonderful stay! It was peaceful and quiet! We slept amazing and our hosts were amazing! They made sure we had everything we needed plus some! They were very thorough with information and were happy to help in any way. They even left snacks, and coffee for us. You have everything you need for a perfect stay there. It’s also right near The Road to Hana, and beaches with turtles!! which was perfect! Thank you so much for a great experience! If we ever come back we will know where to stay for a relaxing and stress free trip!

We were here for 10 days on a yoga retreat. Tranquil Palms is a quiet, comfortable, wonderful location for your next Maui visit. They have beach chairs, umbrella, etc to borrow. We would definitely stay here again!

Friends Hawai’i trip

We enjoyed our stay at Tranquil Palms. The location was perfect for us. The view was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings. Hosts were great communicators and provided everything to make our stay comfortable.

Very nice location

Very nice location close to the up country/Haleakala, road to Hana and everything else on the North shore of Maui. Great views of Molokai from the Lanai, hosts were very pleasant, and the accommodations were excellent. I will be staying there again .

This was our second time to stay here. For us, it is preferred place to stay. It suites our needs perfectly. Robert is a great host and provides their guests with many extra amenities like coffee, banana bread, cereal and to go snacks. We love having breakfast each morning at the patio table under the porch viewing the West Maui Mountains on the left and the ocean to the bottom right. Such a peaceful and calm way to start each day.The rooms are comfortable and the bed is just the right firmness for a comfortable nights sleep.We already are planning to return next year!

Perfect, peaceful, quiet location especially for driving the Road to Hana. We stayed in Hana one night and returned to this location the following day. Our time was primarily here was primamily to sleep amd rest. We were out all day exploring and enjoyed coming "home" to this beautiful place. I am from Texas and thought l would need the AC running at night but it was not necessary. I slept like a baby with the windows open and fresh air. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Little paradise in Maui

If you are looking for a quiet stay in the middle of nature and want to enjoy a magnificent view, this is it. Plenty of room for 2 couples… If you want to discover the island, especially Hana , this is a good base.

Wonderful gem on the north shore

Robert was super communicative and easy to work with, and the place is gorgeous and was perfect as a home base for our adventures. It's a refreshing and relaxing spot that really allowed us to just soak in the Maui experience!
