The place was good and the location seems really good if you have time to hike. Unfortunately we were only staying for one night. Clean and cozy. Some additional information ahead of arrival for check in would have been good, especially now knowing that there would be no cell coverage.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was spacious, comfortable, & the screened-in porches were a great place to relax. We especially enjoyed watching some summer storms roll through while staying dry and comfortable. We had some family camping at the Poe Valley campsites, & it was quick & easy to travel back & forth. It was an especially hot couple of day during our stay, so we really appreciated the full cabin air conditioning after spending time outside. We'd definitely stay here again!

Great set up for our little weekend getaway. Back porch was great to listen to the little stream flowing and the birds chirping while I drank my morning coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace :) Be sure to drive in town and check out Milroy OIP- good food at reasonable price and check out Smoke House Bar and Grill- the loaded potatoes are yummy!

We had a very nice stay here. The home was clean and comfortable, and well stocked with essentials—we especially appreciated the generous supply of paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues. The neighboring houses were a bit closer than we expected, but it was still quiet and relaxing overall. The highlight for us was the multiple screened porches—they were such a great place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. We also loved being able to bring our dog, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The location was great as well, with close proximity to state parks for fishing and hiking.

Cozy! Warm and inviting, we were very impressed with everything, especially the clear notes on how to turn everything on.We were certainly remote and isolated. And removed from civilization, except for the neighboring flock of chickens - they were a welcome sight and very entertaining.

Nice cabin

Great place only complaint is vrbo directions take you to nowhere be sure to put adress of cabin in your gps before heading out since cell signal isnt that good on the roads to cabin

The description said sleeps 7 but unless one is sleeping on couch and one in recliner it only sleeps 5. Second bedroom has no door its just at top of stairs. Otherwise cute house with nice porches for porch sitting in warm weather. Rds to get there are very mountain side and narrow but if you want scenic views its perfect.
