Creekside Hideaway, sleeps 9-10, gorgeous and private setting.

Nestled along the banks of lovely Kish Creek, Creekside Hideaway offers a beautiful cabin retreat, with a bunkhouse that adds additional sleeping space. The beauty of the setting is awe-inspiring. The sound of rushing water and the surrounding scenery provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

The main floor of the cabin features a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and a full bath. Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom with a queen bed and a private balcony. The loft area offers two more queen beds and a lovely view of the creek.

Outside, the property boasts a large front porch, a fire pit, and a bunkhouse with a deck overlooking the creek. The bunkhouse includes a full-over-queen bunk bed. Additionally, there is parking for three RVs with water and power hook-ups, available for an additional charge of $40 per RV per night. A pavilion for large groups is also located on the property; however, the cabin is in a separate area and is not visible from the pavilion.

Creekside Hideaway is located 26 miles from Penn State University.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

- We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

- Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

- Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

- Absolutely no pets. If a pet is discovered, there will be a $250 upcharge.

Cozy and well-appointed cabin on a beautiful creekside site. We appreciated all of the comfortable touches (for example lots of blankets, good furniture for lounging, great comfy beds). It was meticulously clean. A great place for our two families with teenagers to have some quality time together. Easy drive to Penn State University Park. We will definitely stay here again!

Great property, very relaxing

Great location for gravel bike rides through all the nearby state forests. Nice and quiet, beautiful Creek out front. Great porch to enjoy the morning coffee on! Very clean and nice amenities.

wonderful creekside retreat

We needed a quiet, serene place to collect ourselves after our mother's celebration of life, and this property proved to be perfect. We traveled back to Central PA as a family of 8 for a family wedding. The cabin was spacious, clean, and was exactly as listed. With a quiet stream side location nestled at the edge of the woods, it was the perfect place for the kids to play and explore and for the adults as well. The location is a great base to enjoy all that the region has to offer-excellent gravel and mountain bike riding, hiking, hunting, fishing, and an easy 30 minute drive to Penn State. The hosts were very friendly and prompt with communication, and made the check-in/checkout process simple. In summation, we would return in a heartbeat if our travels bring us back to Central Pa.

My family and I spent a long weekend at Creekside Hideaway. It was exactly as advertised. The cabin is beautiful and it’s location is just as beautiful. Girls Getaway

A group of us got together for the weekend to unplug and relax. This was the perfect place to stay! We enjoyed getting to read by the creek, play games inside, and just enjoy each other’s company without our phones going off every five minutes. The WiFi wasn’t super great and none of us had service, but for what we were planning it was great!

Early Christmas celebration with family

Mine and my brother’s families stayed at the cabin leading up to Christmas as our parents are in central Pennsylvania. The cabin is in a great and convenient location but still remote enough to be very quiet, beautiful and tranquil. It was very clean and communication with the host was clear and timely. My only recommendation would be to allow for a check out time of 11 or noon (10 was a little early for us). We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice cabin.

The cabin was very nice. A beautiful creek runs by, and we saw a couple of bald eagles. On the downside the internet was terrible we took our tv and couldn't watch it. It didn't say no tv in the ad. The coffee maker was filthy. My husband sent an e-mail to the management about everything, and no one replied back(disapointed)

Overall the property was amazing and clean! Quaint and cozy with nice furnishings. Los of property for the kids to run around on. The creek outside is very peaceful. The bunk house offers a nice experience for the kids. Received several emails with conflicting information regarding check out checklist which was a little confusing and no tv in the home which was not conveyed on the listing. Other than that, the property was great, would like to come back in the summer!
